@ricky10yid A male pick-me is the lad who'll do anything for strangers' approval, convinced everyone's thinking he's a legend, when in reality they're just cringing at him. 😂
@ArtOfPilgrim You drive everything off a growth mask that goes from 0 → 1 over time.
That single value controls:
where the foam exists
how much it expands
how it looks etc.
Then you make it grow using some sort of world-space propagation trick, i.e : Get the origin and calculate growth.
@fwtoads@TheOisinMoran@AerLingus Yeah defo, I imagine their APIs needs to be very generic also for integration with the many systems used in the industry. Loads of old code with people just keeping things in a working condition 🤣
@TheOisinMoran@AerLingus Examples: Oisín, José, Chloë, Søren, Zoë, François, Łukasz.
Most airlines only support basic ASCII name fields. It's not anti-Irish but more in line with supporting international systems without weird glitches on other systems.
@TheOisinMoran@AerLingus As a software engineer: It’s legacy architecture. Airlines like Aer Lingus still rely on decades-old reservation systems with unified name fields. The passenger record is the shared source of truth across partner airlines, airports, and border systems, so dual formats are risky.
@IamTheImmortal Enjoy Matt love that you've seen trim and now blarney castle. If you get a chance to visit Dingle via Connors pass make sure you do it. it's like you're in a movie, insanely beautiful.
@_Matty723 Support you all the way matty but if that's all your making you may need to do this on the side and explore other avenues. Love your work but you're worth more than a few cents an hour mate.
@john003@rtenews I worked in this area can confirm theres huge competition in the data center space. Germany, Holland, Finland all are building them in bulk and I feel if Ireland do this we will fall massively behind.
