Yep. I married my wife because she was the first woman I had ever been with who made me a meal.

The first day she came to my place, I got home from work and the kitchen smelled amazing.

I couldn’t believe my eyes. All I knew at the time was that she was a nurse. The food smelled like it had been made by a professional chef, so I asked her if she loved cooking.

She told me she did and that she had actually gone to culinary school before becoming a nurse.

So my wife is literally both a certified chef and a nurse.

Five years into marriage, I’ve tasted just about every cuisine you can think of. One of the best decisions I ever made was marrying a woman who genuinely enjoys cooking.

The food has been incredible, but more than that, it’s the love, care, and effort she puts into it that make it special.

At this point, you would have to kill me before I leave my wife. My standards are way too high to start dating again and try to find another woman.

When you’ve spent years with someone who is kind, supportive, hardworking, educated, and genuinely cares for you, it becomes very hard to imagine settling for anything less. Some things in life are worth holding onto, and my wife is one of them.
