Reading Scripture is not a mindless routine to check off your list. God uses his Word to transform your mind and cleanse your heart. Open the Bible daily with a heart ready to obey.
Someone close to me has asked how to surrender themselves to Jesus. I want them to understand it's a process, it was and is a process for anyone sincerely seeking Him. It is ongoing for me. For everyone. Instantaneous transformation happens, but we are refined and chiseled over time. The Holy Spirit instructs and convicts at just the right moments in life. We weed out old behaviors and thoughts and fall more in love with Jesus every day through prayer, discipline and reading His Word. It's not just once and done. Like anything we aspire to, it needs to be priority. We need to allow Jesus to change us. We need to fall more in love with Him than anything in this world.
Four foundational truths about God's holy Word:
• It is completely true and without error
• It holds total authority over your life
• It gives light to your daily path
• It lasts forever and will never fail
Marriage is a covenant, not a convenience.
You don’t just leave because things got hard for a bit.
Covenant means you stay even when it’s not easy. Convenience means you leave the second it stops feeling good.
Your iPhone shoots better photos than most cameras. Apple just leaves half the settings switched off out of the box.

Flew from Rome (CIA) to London (STN) on Ryan Air, for the first time.
The airfare for the 2 hour and 40 minute flight was as low as €18 ($20) if booked in advance. My airfare was higher at €60 ($67) due to last minute booking. The flight had a full load.
In Africa a comparable flight costs significantly more especially in places like Nigeria. For instance, a one-way flight from Lagos to Abijan on the Nigerian carrier, Air Peace, lasting less than two hours, costs 2,400% more compared to the lowest airfare from Rome to London.
African airlines and aviation policy makers should take note how airlines and airports are innovating around the world, delivering great results for customers and boosting overall economic growth. Democratizing African air travel by effectively implementing “African open skies” under the African Union’s (AU) Single African Air Transport Market (SATAM) agreements, promoting collaboration amongst African carriers and removing operational barriers, should be the goal. Air travel has to be affordable to millions of Africans and not just for a few.
Ryan Air, based in Ireland, can fly anywhere in the European Union (EU) without any regulatory restrictions under the EU’s Single Aviation Market agreement. Unfortunately African carriers still need BASAs and face other bureaucratic impediments preventing them from flying unrestricted within AU member countries.
Note: Yes, Ryan Air, as a no frills ultra LCC, charges extra for everything— €55 to check-in at the counter, €70 for 1st checked luggage, €31 for carry-on and €10 for seat selection. Still, the base fare is very affordable especially considering the current high jet fuel prices.

A degree without opportunity is a certificate of frustration. We should be asking where jobs will come from, not just celebrating how many students graduated.
Most people are not poor because they lack money. They are poor because they lack access to opportunities, networks, information and capital. Wealth is an ecosystem.
Parenting has no manual. Drunkards have raised priests, holy families have raised drunkards, chiefs have raised thieves, peasant farmers have raised doctors, and rich men have raised beggars. Success is relative, so don't judge other people's children.
