The content isn't going anywhere and if you learn to love the process it doesn't matter how long it takes. The process is what actually creates the memories and experiences you reflect back on with nostalgia, not the totem.
One must imagine Sisyphus happy.
Group exploded, too much friction between people
If anybody got plans for a DRG/PLD/DRK, I'm still looking to clear this ultimate. I have exp until p3 enrage and pretty confident about the rest of the fight
I need to find a way to remove EVERYTHING ffxiv-related on social medias, except official accounts. Im so tired of this community, they are completely out of touch and not afraid to spread bullshit. I just want to focus on my friends and enjoy the game's content
@hrtclue@QtBakaa the topic isnt much abt if leveling w/o bots is viable or not, it's about it being boring and not engaging, preventing people to engage in content they found fun because of other limitations of the game (in my previous exemple, not being able to help because of loot restriction)
@hrtclue@QtBakaa I dont understand what you are trying to say. Just seems to me you are commenting on how people should have fun with the game, and because their fun doesnt line up with yours, then it's not valid?
@hrtclue@QtBakaa people bot-leveling are mostly (90+% ?) players that already cleared the content and are looking for a way to play the game even more, like helping friends on current end-game content, without fucking up the rewards with their main. Also to gear more jobs and play more, again
why do we care what people use to level their jobs? it's quite literally THEIR sub they are PAYING for, who cares how they decide to spend their time and money? It literally has 0 impact on YOU and how you play. 99.9% of the time, the leveling is done through the trust system aka NPCS, so they more than likely aren't in your dungeons, and on the VERY VERY RARE occasion they are, you can just *kick and replace in 3 seconds*. Not to mention you can buy a level boost in the store and a story skip, even if you just started the game! It makes no difference. If a player who used the plogon to level their jobs goes into your raids and is trash, they'd still be trash if they did it themselves because manually leveling your job does not magically make you good at it. That takes research and a fundamental understanding that dungeons do not teach you. This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen. The only valid point it is against ToS, but so is everything else mod/plugin related so you better be gung-ho about everything non-vanilla and against the buyable skips in the mogstation.
I hope that for the future SE changes their approach with announcements. Yes, I get it was announced to be released "late DT", but announcing something at fanfest as a way to get you to buy the expansion, only for it to arrive when the next one is about to be announced is awkward
