Kwankwaso is the only governor that lost his re-election in Kano in this republic. Every governor had 2 consecutive terms except him. He was the political darling of Obasanjo. Yet, Kwankwaso was defeated by Ibrahim Shekarau who was a former classroom teacher. Shekarau was even demoted by Kwankwaso in the state civil service maliciously and mocked him for having nobody except God. Well, God made Shekarau the governor in that election. His Obasanjo and power of incumbency couldn't help him.
In 2007, Kwankwaso handpicked Ahmed Bichi under the same PDP because he was afraid to run. Shekarau defeated his candidate and got his second term despite the PDP being the ruling party. Again, Obasanjo couldn't help him. His Minister of Defence position couldn't help him.
I am an eye witness to these events in Kano. So, do not be afraid of humans who think they can play God. History has shown that they are weak and vulnerable when the people are determined to defeat them. Every beginning has an end.
Make no mistake, Atiku is Tinubu promax. He will do everything that Tinubu is doing, and his arrogance will not let him listen to opposing voices or the cries of the masses.
2027 choices are clear—either vote for Peter Obi and see the true change we all desire, or vote for Tinubu to maintain the current state of economic hardship, unemployment, hunger and insecurity.
Senator Aishatu Binani
Governor Fintiri
Governor Agbu Kefas
Governor Inuwa Yahaya
Senator Danjuma Goje
Sheikh Isa Ali Pantami
Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo
Former Governor M. A. Abubakar
Governor Bala Mohammed
Senator Ningi
Former Governor Ibrahim Gaidam
Governor Mai Mala Buni
Senator Ahmad Lawan
Governor Zulum
Vice President Kashim Shettima are all from the same region and are not aligned with Atiku, yet none of them are insulted for not supporting him. But only Kwankwaso, who is not even from their region, is constantly targeted.
Please what kind of hatred is this? Whenever there is a crisis in your states, Kano is always among the first to provide support that others don’t yet it is the one that receives the most insults and criticism from you. Why?
If the benchmark for assessing the current governor of Gombe State is based on poverty reduction, educational, industrial growth, agric modernization, IT-driven economic transformation, youth employment, and insecurity, many would agree that Inuwa’s report card is less than satisfactory.
If you’re satisfied with Inuwa’s performance, then by all means, vote for Jamilu.
However, if you believe Gombe has more potential and want a government that prioritizes human capital development, innovation, job creation, education, modern agriculture, security, and economic growth, then the choice is clear, vote for Pantami.
Pantami offers a different, progressive vision and a fresh approach to governance. Perhaps that’s why Inuwa didn’t endorse him as the APC candidate.

OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU 🇳🇬 @officialABAT
I have written an open letter calling for urgent intervention over the alleged illegal detention and denial of food and medical care to Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. Justice, fairness, and humanity must prevail.
Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, Chairman of the ICPC, you are a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. You know the law. Yet you hold Mallam Nasir El-Rufai for 89 days without bail. Deny him access to his doctor despite a court order. Turn away his wife with his meal.
By law, a suspect cannot be detained beyond what is reasonable without being charged or granted bail. Section 35(4) of the 1999 Constitution is clear. Your actions mock the very laws you swore to uphold.
You're from Jigawa. A northerner being used to target a fellow northerner? That makes it worse, not better.
This entire ordeal reeks of political vendetta and deserves nothing but condemnation. Malam El-Rufai deserves his freedom immediately.
It's time for the Federal Government and the Kaduna State Governor to step in and put a stop to this grave injustice.
Please, let all the 'he is a monopolist' bandwagon beat Aliko to this. Set up your own power plant, so that Aliko will not monopolise NEPA. Because when he does this, we don't want to 'hia' 'pim' from you. God bless Dangote-a one man nation
Yesterday, Channels TV interviewed Dangote and asked why his cement and other locally produced goods are expensive. Here’s what he said:
“All the companies you know under me spend at least ₦95 billion every single month on diesel alone. The cement plant in Obajana alone consumes about 50 million litres of diesel every month. At the end of the year, our total diesel cost is over ₦1 trillion annually. That’s not a small amount that people can ignore. So the cost of our products, especially cement, has to be high because from production to distribution, we rely heavily on diesel.”
That was Dangote’s explanation.
Now think about it. A man spending over ₦1 trillion yearly just on diesel, not even counting maintenance, staff salaries, allowances, taxes, and other expenses. Do you even understand what ₦1 trillion means? 😒
For comparison, Jigawa State with a population of over 8.2 million has never had a ₦1 trillion budget till today.
With all this wealth, Dangote still has just his three daughters. May God protect us from poverty in this world and the hereafter. 👌
Dear Pres. @PaulKagame.
I hope this meets you well. I'm a massive fan, and consider myself a Rwandan as my second African nationality.
You're also a dear friend to the leader of my Arab motherland @TamimBinHamad, which is what I'll be shamelessly riding on to ask for what I'm about to.
Being that Pres. @officialABAT is visiting your country, please can you have a pep talk with him about the importance of rule of law, the sanctity and integrity of the democratic process, and being just of the judiciary?
He's making Nigeria into a one party state, and doing everything in his power to ensure nobody else contests against him in the upcoming 2027 elections. He's also turned the judiciary into a kangaroo court system through the chief justice of Nigeria and the @SupremeCourtNg.
While at it, can you please drop a good word and ask him to tell @ubasanius to allow Mallam @elrufai be granted the bail he deserves?
I ask this on behalf of us in Northern Nigeria that consider Mallam Nasir as one of our leaders and elder statesmen.
Mallam Nasir Elrufai is the immediate past governor of Kaduna state, the state which Uba Sani now administers and came into power because Mallam supported his succession.
Today, Uba Sani is part of the apparatus used against Mallam.
Mallam is an excellent public servant with outstanding records of service and accomplishments across all sectors and positions he served.
He is being persecuted through anti-graft agencies by Pres. Tinubu's administration to keep him away from playing the pivotal role he has always played in opposition politics.
A judge in Kaduna under the directive of Gov. Uba Sani, denied him bail which is his right, and nothing about him warrants such a stringent judgement.
Below is a press statement by a coalition of Northern stakeholders on the issue.
Please intercede for us, and ask him to do the just thing.
Thank you for your help, support, time and attention.
Kind regards,
A Concerned Northern Nigerian Citizen
@itx_Baiita@Asad_Mukty That's Ego, itace ta hallakamu a siayasance 2023. Ya kamara dai a tsaya a hada kai domin samun Nasara. Amma idan ba haka ba it's going to be an easy Ride for APC and Tinubu 2027 wlhy ko.
Dear Northern Governors, @ubasanius Chief Host,
It is shameful that despite the terrible state of things in Kaduna; Poor Infrastructure, dilapidated schools & hospitals, deep-rooted poverty & obvious slow development in your states, you all stooped low to a record breaking "low" to weaponised poverty and hunger & rush to share RICE 🌾 to your people as the only thing you can offer.
You all know you can't win a free and fair election, with the kind of terrible performance you have staged in the past three years. It is shameful that this is all you can present to the people.
FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN COLLABORATION WITH
CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (CAN) TO BUILD N25 Billion CHURCH AT ABUJA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
WHEN WILL THE EQUATION BE BALANCED ?????????????
Source: Vanguard Newspaper of 26 April, 2026 reported the story.
1. The N25 Billion project was flagged -off on April 26, 2026 by the Secretary to the Federal Government, George Akume, Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo, CAN president, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, other Senior Federal Government and CAN officials.
2. According to SGF George Akume, the project represents a “confluence of faith and progress” which will meet passengers’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Archbishop Okoh said travelers “need a place where they can regain their calm before they enter the aeroplane”.
3. For this project to be flagged- off by the Secretary to the Federal government and the aviation minister means PABT is fully aware and have given his consent.
4. For that huge land space to be allocated, Minister Wike and PABT must have been fully involved.
5. . When will the P-ABT provide the Muslim faithfuls the same prominent and visible huge land space to put their own mosque structure for Muslim "pilgrims and travellers"
5. When will P-ABT privide the equal financial contribution to the Muslim faithfuls as he did to CAN.
6. When will P-ABT send some Muslim ministers to do a ground breaking of the mosque at the Abuja international airport in the manner he sent SGF Akume and Festus Keyamo.
7. When will P-ABT put a disclaimer that he is not aware of the N25 Billion Federal government/CAN Project so that Muslim faithfuls will "BELIEVE HIM AS NEUTRAL"
8. This N25 Billion Abuja international airport mosque project is an equation with two variables, one known and the other unknown. For the picture to become clear, THE EQUATION MUST BE BALANCED otherwise it remains the case of:
"A MOTHER IN-CHARGE OF THE KITCHEN WILL FEED HER CHILDREN FIRST, AND OUT OF HATE WILL DELIBERATELY STARVE THE OTHERS TO DEATH"
OR
"A CASE OF A POLYGAMOUS FATHER WHO CARES AND REMEMBERS ONLY A SMALL PART OF THE FAMILY WHILE WILLINGLY FORGETTING THE BIGGER PART WHO DO NOT RESEMBLE HIM AND DO NOT SPEAK THE LANGUAGE HE UNDERSTANDS"
HOWSOEVER:
Psalm 82:2-3
2."How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked? Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the ...
