“There’s no money in Europe. Before you build a house on a 9-5 job, it’d take about 10-15 years in Africa. But in Europe, your back would break on a 9-5 job”- Man says
If you walk into an airport and walk up to the forex exchange counter and say, “hey, you guys have this price listed for USD to naira,” and then tell them, “I want to make a bet with you that tomorrow this price is going to go up,” and they agree to that bet — if the price goes up, they pay you the difference — that’s a CFD (contract for difference).
That does NOT mean your money is going into institutional flow.
How are y’all so confused about this?
Stop trying to compare institutional trading when retail traders don’t even have access to that. Retail is literally trading derivatives that track the price of exchange rates — you’re making bets on the movement.
It’s 100% legal and it makes sense.
Some of y’all just can’t do it well enough to make money from it.
This guy said your money becomes JPMorgan Chase liquidity …that’s how you know he doesn’t understand what he’s talking about.
CFD trading doesn’t even touch institutional bank order flow. You’re not participating in the actual interbank market. You’re simply speculating on price. The money you deposit goes to your broker they hold it, and if your speculation is correct, they pay you out.
The lack of understanding from people who think they’re smart is wild.
Forex trading and CFD trading are not the same thing. Most retail traders are trading CFDs not real spot forex.
Someone exchanging naira on the streets of Nigeria for foreign currency is participating in the actual foreign exchange market. That is completely different from someone speculating on price movements through a CFD.
Forex is a market.
CFDs are a financial instrument.
If you’re going to speak on it publicly, at least understand the difference otherwise you’re just exposing yourself.
