Your biggest obstacle as a job seeker is getting shortlisted, not passing interviews. A recruiter could receive 400 CVs on an application, shortlist from the first 20, recommend 1, end. With good prep, you can’t attend 5 interviews and not bag at least one offer.
People working in toxic organizations do not realize all the damage done till they work somewhere else and see how the trauma affects their confidence, output and relationships with managers.
Run from toxic spaces!
If you don’t know exactly what you want to do with your career, you might want to consider building a portfolio career.
You don’t have to choose one path immediately.
You could work in marketing, create content, freelance, consult or teach all while gradually figuring out what you’re actually good at and enjoy.
The key is not to do everything at once.
Start with one skill. Explore one adjacent opportunity. Build from there.
Your career doesn’t have to be one straight line. Sometimes, you discover your direction by exploring different lanes.

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
