How does that make any difference @LloydMathias ? The attack on @kritisanon was based on what she was wearing and that is entirely her choice. That she is an investor or part owner in GVA is not the issue here at all. Would we ever tell a man who may have a stake in a shirt company what he should wear: a suit, a bandhgala or a T shirt? गँवारों की एक पहचान है। कोई AI चैटबॉट खोलते हैं। पूछते हैं - "मनुस्मृति में महिलाओं के ख़िलाफ़ क्या लिखा है?" उलटा-सुलटा जवाब आ जाता है। उसे लेकर सोशल मीडिया पर ढोल पीटते हैं।

डॉ सुरेंद्र कुमार ने 'विशुद्ध मनुस्मृति' लिखी है। सनातन धर्म को बदनाम करने के लिए उसमें कई श्लोक बाद में जोड़े गए। ये समझने के लिए व्याकरणविद होने की आवश्यकता नहीं है कि किसी भी गंभीर ग्रन्थ में एक श्लोक को अगला श्लोक पूरी तरह नहीं काट सकता। यानी, आज जो लोग मनुस्मृति का विरोध कर रहे हैं वो पूर्व में भी अन्य रूपों में मौजूद थे और उन्होंने मनुस्मृति को अपवित्र किया।

मनुस्मृति कहती है कि स्त्री को क़ैद करके नहीं रखा जा सकता, वो स्वविवेक से कार्य करे। फिर अगला ही श्लोक कहता है कि वो पिता, पति और फिर पुत्र के अधीन रहे। ये हास्यास्पद है। प्रक्षिप्त है। जो प्रसङ्ग प्रसंग विवाहित स्त्री के गृहस्थ कर्तव्यों का है, वहाँ अचानक से बालिका वाली चीज नहीं आ सकती। मनु ने कभी स्त्री को पुरुष की दासी नहीं माना। मूल मनुस्मृति में ऐसा कुछ भी ��हीं है।

मनु कहते हैं कि धर्मकार्य में स्त्री-पुरुष दोनों साथ रहें। फिर एक श्लोक जोड़ दिया जाता है कि स्त्रियों को मन्त्राधिकार नहीं है। इतना विरोधाभास? यही तो है किसी ग्रन्थ को प्रक्षिप्त कर देना। स्त्री-पुरुष के पारंपरिक दांपत्य जीवन वाले प्रसङ्ग में अचानक से स्त्री की निंदा वाले श्लोक आने लगते हैं। विषय भटक जाता है। यानी, बाद में जोड़ा गया। मनु के कई पीढ़ी बाद के ऋषि-दंपतियों का उल्लेख ���ै। परिपक्व होने पर भी लड़की के विवाह का आदेश दिया गया है, लेकिन कहीं अन्यत्र अचानक से 8 साल की लड़की से विवाह की बात कह दी जाती है। ये विरोधाभास है। ये AI नहीं बताएगा। ये विद्वान लोग बताएँगे।

मनु द्वारा स्थापित मूल सिद्धांतों से जो भी श्लोक मिलता-जुलता नहीं है, वो बाद में जोड़े गए। इसीलिए, AI से पूछकर कहीं से कोई रैंडम श्लोक निकालकर लाना बंद करो। बाद मौलिक श्लोकों पर कीजिए।

केवल मनुस्मृति ��ो ख़राब कह देने से नहीं होगा। प्रमाण देने पड़ेंगे कि मनु की सोच कहाँ ग़लत है। उसी मनु के नाम पर तुम भी मनुष्य कहलाते हो, मानवता की बातें करते हो। फिर उसी मनु को गाली देते हो। स्वयं के लिए मानव या मनुष्य शब्द का इस्तेमाल बंद करो। मानवता शब्द का इस्तेमाल भी बंद कर दो। फिर देखें ज़रा कि तुम्हारे पास क्या बचता है। कुछ नहीं बचेगा।

राहुल गाँधी को भी डॉ सुरेंद्र कुमार की 'विशुद्ध मनुस्मृति' पढ़नी चाहिए। उन्होंने यूँ ही नहीं लिख दिया है, बल्कि तर्क दिया है कि वो किसी श्लोक में बाद में जोड़ा हुआ क्यों बता रहे हैं। अब तुम कोई किताब छपवाकर उसके कवर पेज पर 'मनुस्मृति' लिख दो और अंदर ये श्लोक डाल दो कि स्त्रियों का वध कर देना चाहिए। फिर कल को राहुल गाँधी यही लेकर दिखाने लगें कि देखो मनुस्मृति में क्या लिखा हुआ है। ऐसा नहीं चलता है पगले।
