Inquisitive thoughts about life & God should never be controlled, prohibited or hijacked as long as they pursue truth & do no harm. Then let them take shape.
(3/4) The first written versions of the Quran had no dots (see the manuscript screenshots).
Quran readers would interpret the letters based on context. They did so inconsistently, and variants emerged. For example, a different Quran was read in Mecca compared to Kufa. These Quran variants diverged over time, their meanings changing dramatically.
Consequently, 700 widely divergent Quran variants existed by the 10th century.
As the variants spread, the "Ulema" of Muslim scholars scrambled to assert control—
- 936 AD — Ibn Mujahid was tasked to get a grip on the situation. He chose the work of 7 famed Quran readers. None of these readers had lived during Muhammad's time.
- 1196 AD — Al-Shatabi picked another 14, so you now had 21 recognized variants.
- 1429 AD — Al-Jazari chose another 9, so now there were 30 variants.
This variant crisis peaked in 1924 in Egypt, leading to a dramatic "dumping into the Nile" of all but the "Hafs" variant, which then became Egypt's official Quran.
In 1985, Saudi Arabia also endorsed the "Hafs," and the rest of the Muslim world quietly fell in line.
Discrepancies between the Hafs and the other "recognized" variants number over 93,000. And we haven't even considered the "unrecognized" variants, many of which still survive.
Major Flaws in Islamic Theology: Secrets Muslim "Scholars" Are Hiding 🧵
(1/4) Islam differs from other religions in one important way.
Muslims believe the Quran is the word of god. Literally. An angel, on behalf of Allah, spoke to Muhammad, and those EXACT words supposedly became the Quran.
They believe in ONE Quran, UNALTERED, since its revelation.
By contrast, Hindus believe the Vedas & Upanishads came from the anubhav (experience) of enlightened Rishis (sages). Christians believe the Bible was "inspired" by god—not "revealed" like the Quran. When attempting conversion, Muslims often raise this point, foolishly thinking it strengthens their case.
It actually weakens them.
Why? Well, Hindus and Christians don't rely on perfect preservation—they recognize the human role in their religious scriptures.
But exposing human involvement in the Quran's composition would devastate Islamic theology. It would undermine the foundational belief that the Quran is the LITERAL word of god. Little else would be worthy of trust if this principle were a lie.
So, does any such evidence of human involvement exist?
Oh, there's plenty.
Iranian women in Ahvaz, 1970s.
There is a lie going around that only the rich Tehran elite lived a 'Western', secular lifestyle.
That might apply to Afghanistan, but not us. Whether in villages or cities, rich or working class, most Iranians dressed exactly like this 👇🏻
As of today, this is how women must dress in Afghanistan, according to the Taliban's Supreme Leader.
The following rules are now in effect: The full face must be covered—no hands, nothing visible. The black veil was presented as a "recommendation" a year ago, now it is the law.
The Taliban’s new decree bans women’s voices from being heard by men outside their family. This regime has progressively banned women from work, education, travel, media, and public life, reducing their existence to mere reproductive functions with no voice or face.
🚨Case Update: Settlement Reached🚨
Having been expelled from my Masters’ degree in Psychotherapy over 3 years ago, after speaking out about the impact of gender ideology on child safeguarding, I am extremely pleased to announce that I have agreed a settlement with the Metanoia Institute.
Metanoia have published a statement, recognising that gender critical beliefs are valid professional therapeutic beliefs.
They accept that I was trying to protect children. They accept breaching policy. They apologise to me and state that this will never happen to another student.
Finally, after having the vocation I loved so much snatched away from me, and the years of abuse that have followed, I feel vindicated.
This, coupled with the outcome of my litigation against the UK Council for Psychotherapy, means that I have closure at last.
More importantly, I hope that this outcome will ensure that educational institutes think twice before doing to another student what was done to me.
I must thank my incredible legal team, @peter_daly and @akuareindorf, who have been by my side every step of the way.
Finally, I would like to thank each and every one of you who supported me in my fight and donated to my crowdfund. I very literally could not have done it without you. I will remain eternally grateful to you all.
I will now take stock and reflect on my future life plans. However, please know that, whatever direction my career may take, I will never stop fighting for the wellbeing of children and the preservation of biological reality.

OK, science geeks. Sex testing and sport.
There are many people spreading misinformation about the reliability of sex testing, repeating arguments made for its abolition some 25 years ago.
I don’t know if they have noticed that we’ve undergone something of a genetics revolution over the past few decades 😀
@OliLondonTV It simply boils down to genetics.
XY ≠ XX
A man is a man and can NEVER become a woman. This is not hate speech. This is science. This is common knowledge and common sense. Only 10 years ago, a vast majority of people would agree with this. For millenia, this has been fact.
The Lord Jesus, Archbishop John reminds us, called for us all to love one another, as He loved us.
That is why, Archbishop John said, “in our Church and in our society, in our nation and in our world, there is no place for racism. Never, ever.”
Amen
Stories have power, and there is a story they are desperate to tell: a tale of a people persecuted by their own rulers who rise up against them. This story portrays them as heroes, not as villains, so they desperately look for a chance to tell it. /2
For days, I've wondered why the PM was so slow to call in the army to deal with these riots. Today, I've come to understand why; he knows what the far right is attempting to do. 🧵
Hundreds of people have gathered in the centre of Cardiff to counter-protest after reports of a far-right rally planned for tonight.
Reverend Sarah Jones tells the crowd: “Peace and love, ultimately, will win this fight.”
Could any picture sum up our new men’s rights movement better? The smirk of a male who’s knows he’s protected by a misogynist sporting establishment enjoying the distress of a woman he’s just punched in the head, and whose life’s ambition he’s just shattered. #Paris2024
