Being a native South African is not easy man. It’s literally a constant fight for survival. Everyone wants a piece of South Africa while simultaneously pretending that this country is a shithole and the natives are terrible people.

The South African middle class is detached from the daily realities and challenges that most other South Africans face.
They are preoccupied on Instagram with performative intellectualism and social media activism, while remaining largely disconnected from the lived experiences of ordinary people on the ground. Instead, they share Instagram stories among themselves, competing to see who can appear the smartest.
Lol all marginalised groups are allowed to express themselves except the poor. When poor people express themselves they are told that their reality is not real. That studies and statistics disagree with their lived reality. Ay
Do you understand how crazy it is that South Africans are being judged for wanting foreigners to be in their country LEGALLY? How is this even a conversation???
We occupy different worlds, geographically and financially. Tomorrow’s march may not affect your livelihood, but don’t be so quick to call it stupid or unnecessary. For many South Africans, it’s about survival, dignity and being heard. The masses are tired and fed up.
@ThuliMadonsela3 After le admission about these problems you've identified makutsho kuthiweni? Girls have been raped and prostituted by foreigners, South African children have been trafficked by foreigners. Where was the condemnation of hate then? The burden of love is again placed on victims.
