@jasonwhitlock Travel sports aren't healthy for families seeking to live in the community of a healthy NT church. We made it thru with 4 D-1 caliber athletes (3 played D-1). Club sports need revamped and regionalized. No need for national teams. It hurts families spiritually and financially.
As Governor, I will bring in an independent, outside auditor and go through every department, every agency, every penny to eliminate the waste and fraud in our government.
Career politicians have grown the state budget by over $10 billion in the last 7 years - over 60%.
It’s time to bring in a business leader and outsider to clean up the swamp in Topeka.
As Governor, I’ll get it done!
@levi25braun I didn’t love them then and I’m not sad now. Definitely don’t think they would make a run. But I’m not really a fan so…. I guess this didn’t apply to me. lol
One of my neighbors kid went to trade school for HVAC at 18.
His parents were embarrassed because everyone around us, college is the only option promoted.
He spent $6k and started at $65k while his friends were still in school.
At 25 he got his contractor license. At 27 he opened his own shop.
Last year his company did $2.1 million in revenue with 3 trucks. His friends just started to pay off their student loans.
Now, my neighbors cant stop bragging about their son who also is our neighborhood HVAC tech.
Day 96 tagging @mikeroweworks to let everyone know that we need more kids like this.
I in fact do not “trust the plan,” especially when the exact plan is never coherently articulated. The idea that we should reserve criticism of our elected leaders on the vague assumption that there must be some sort of “plan” that we mere mortals don’t understand is just embarrassing. How did “trusting the plan” work during COVID? How has it ever worked?
@codygfoster I agree it's the parent's responsibility. That being said, it would be wise/helpful/nice if schools and youth sports would create some spaces (times) to allow families to breathe and connect with one another. Club/HS sports is a grind and the $ makers (clubs) will not limit.
Property taxes have become a statewide crisis.
The career politicians in Topeka have failed us.
Property taxes are affecting seniors, working families, young people, everyone.
It’s time for change.
As Governor, I will stop the skyrocketing taxes.
Cap the property assessments, cap the mill levy rates, and provide property tax credits to Kansans.
It’s time for a business leader and outsider to fix this issue for Kansas.
Today Lindsey Graham, who for some reason has been the White House's top spokesman for this war, went on TV and invoked Iwo Jima while calling for more escalation in Iran. Iwo Jima of course involved 26 thousand US casualties. It's extremely troubling that Graham has so much influence with the administration and has been so empowered to speak on its behalf. He is not conservative, he is not America first, he has never done a single thing in his career to advance the interests of actual American citizens, and he clearly wants this war to continue indefinitely and doesn't care how many Americans die in the process. He should have no influence and no say over anything. He's one of the worst people in all of congress and that includes the Democrats.
The state of Kansas has added $10 billion to the total budget in the last 7 years with no population growth - up over 65%. This is absolutely crazy!
While our taxes go up, career politicians in Topeka are spending our hard earned tax dollars on things we don’t want or need.
Once I’m Governor, I will bring in an outside auditor to go through every dollar in the state budget to find waste, fraud, and abuse in the state government.
I’ll make the audit public so the people know where their money is being spent.
It’s time for accountability and a governor who is going to fight for hard working Kansans across our state.
LETS WIN IN KANSAS!
PROPERTY TAXES ARE OUT OF CONTROL!
This is not a problem in every state. This is a problem in Kansas.
Career politicians have failed to fix the issue and now we are all paying the price.
Seniors are being forced out of their homes.
Working families are getting squeezed.
Young people are leaving the state because they can’t afford homes.
The career politicians have failed us.
It’s time for a business leader and outsider to come in and provide real solutions for working families.
I will get it done!
It’s time to WIN in Kansas!
