My final Heisman argument:
Ashton Jeanty is the best RB in the nation. Ashton Jeanty after contact is the 2nd best RB in the nation.
Travis Hunter might not be the best WR on his team & his QB is a Top 5 pick. He is not a finalist for best CB.
Debate should end here, but…
“For the second year in a row, it appears that we're going to see a heavy dose of Deuce Vaughn in practice. And in this setting, he should be pretty good – and he was on Thursday. He's going to be quick and agile and find room in the defense. Sure, they weren't tackling but Vaughn was moving well in space and seems like he'll have a solid role, especially in the passing game.”
Sources: Jets DE Haason Reddick, who has not landed the new contract he has been seeking, is not planning to report to training camp today with the rest of his team.
The Jets traded a conditional 2026 third-round pick that could become a second-round pick when they acquired Reddick this offseason from Philadelphia.
Reddick is in the final year of his contract and is scheduled to make $14.5 million this season.
@JimNagy_SB @seniorbowl Dont’e Thornton is an interesting one too.
Has all the size/speed. Very limited action as a CFB player. Has potential to make a splash this year in UT’s offense and his measurables alone may make him intriguing to an NFL offense.
@JimNagy_SB @seniorbowl Xavier Restrepo?
Not sure where the draft will value him, but he flashed last year. Hes older, but has good measurables and plays at a big-time program.
Probably a R2-3 guy if he has a good year, but could see a slide to R4-5 if things don’t break right.
