@SFGiantsNick Denver is tough. It hurts that Evans is not 100% and the other receivers are not getting the job done.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@ForeignPolicy Trump is doing hard things. He is winning and not letting short term electioneering guide his decisions. Iran is destroyed and a small threat to anyone at this time. Iran with nukes would have held the strait hostage and hurt everyone. The left wants to lose.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@RoundTheFoghorn They were not a complete team at the end. Mix is a healthy Devers, Schmitt and Chapman and the offense would be dangerous.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@HawkEmDownChris Dick "Night Train" Lane, Iron Horse, Mordecai Three Finger Brown, Dizzy Dean

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@OleTimeHardball Butkus must be on the list

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@OleTimeHardball Christy Mathewson 1908: 37-11, 1.43 era, 390 ip, 34 complete games, 11 shut outs, .84 whip should be high on the list

@ABartholomew_05 Giants have potential with Cox, Davidson, Bericoto and Hill. Let them have a solid year of playing and see if they are the real deal or not. They were fun to watch at the end of '26. Trade Lee and don't sign an OF this year.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@C2Cbsbl Two years from now they will have Flora, Breshnahan and Marquez joining the rotation. Don't do anything to mess that up. I'd focus on Morejon.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@JimmyPaul2003_ Davidson needs to be a full time player. Platoon only when necessary

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@SFGiantsNick last thing the Giants need is another so so outfielder. We have some good young players that need the ABs.
Cox, Davidson, Hill, Bericoto, Gilbert. Those guys can be good. They need to trade JHL for pitching.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@BayAreaTrev The Giants top ss prospects won't be big league ready until '28. Adames has a year to show if a bad '27 was due to injury or not. He won't block when the young guys are ready.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@SplashHitPod @susanslusser putting the best team on the field will bring energy and sell tickets. JHL is not very good and blocks the better young players. Trade him and get some pitching. Slusser is an idiot.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@sieger_matthew @SFGate I have read McCovey Chronicles for years and have found their writers and many of their readers to be intolerant. If you don't believe as they do, you are the bigot. I now get my baseball fix from X. MCC has no tolerance for or understanding of Christians. I'm done with them.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@SFGiantsNick MGGA, I agree with everything you are saying. Devers is exactly what we have been looking for - great trade. Chapman, Adames, Schmitt and Eldridge/Devers will be the infield. If Adames is hurt, Mayer. When Gavin K. comes up, Adames sits.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@SleeperSFGiants with Schmitt between Devers and Eldridge, making it tough on the opposition to just bring in a lefty for both of them.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@Orange_BlackPod @IAIM4409 It's a false choice - Whether they DFA him or not they are still paying the money. Either he's gone or he is here blocking a young player from getting time. I choose developing the young players.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@C2Cbsbl I recall we didn't dump Bailey, but received Tugboat and now Carson Bolemon in return. I'm super happy with that trade. Susac and Cavanaugh will both improve with time. Bailey topped out as a hitter. Some big hits, but essentially a big hole in the lineup.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@101214Champs @NBCSGiants Red, you said it perfectly. I have loved the Giants for 60 years and have never seen the idiocy in the media like today.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@gggiants Patience - it's going to be '28 before we can think playoffs. '27 we should continue to develop the lineup (Cox, Devers, Schmitt, Eldridge, Chapman, Davidson...) and add some top relievers (Morejon and Yuki Matsui), both FA from Padres. Our minor league pitching come up in '28.

[Victory in Chaos @Sjmbam4760]

@GarlicFryRy @ImNotHuman123 I agree, but am hoping Mayer is better than Koss. Koss' defense was bad.
