@soumyadut Data of 6 seasons! You're only looking at one particular Gameweek though, which means yours having 6 data points!
Last year against Bou - 2 games.
These stats are fine to look at but their predicted power is 0.
Which means you can't predict how Salah will do using these stats.
@soumyadut And how is GW2 different from any other gameweek?
You're suggesting that if Salah had Bournemouth in GW1, he'd score a lot, but because he has the same fixture in GW2, he'll blank.
This is what analysis on small sizes does. What you are saying is not statistically significant.
@FPLGOAT7 πππ
Doesn't this logic hold true for every position and every player.
Instead of getting Mbeumo, get Foden.
Instead of getting Foden, get Martinelli.
Instead of getting Martinelli, get Bruno
Instead of getting Bruno get Son
@FPL_Major@FPLGOAT7 Show me one serious player with a darft not containing at least 9 out of these outfield players.
Trent James Chilwell Shaw Estu Botman
Salah Rashford Bruno Saka Odegaard Martinelli Mitoma Enciso Mbeumo
Haaland Jesus Nkunku
By variety, do you mean choosing 10 out of these 18?
@HinduMonkey@RoyleStuart You won't be able to have Haaland Salah Kane and TAA.
Even if you leave out Kane, you'd have to compromise on atleast 3-4 starting spots
@xtul18@allaboutfpl@OfficialFPL That new role might be his old role now. Last season they did not have Szoboszlai and Mac10 in midfield for creativity.
@EagleEyeEd@FFScout@SkontoRigga Arsenal have not been playing a 4231. It'll be a 433.
Rice/Dm + Ode + Havertz in the midfield 3.
Saka martinelli Jesus in the front 3
@EagleEyeEd@FFScout@SkontoRigga They signed Chelsea's top scorer.
Jokes apart,
Havertz has been signed to play a different role - the most attacking kid of a midfield trio. He's technically really good. Look at how good he was when playing a pure second striker in Germany
@FGRAdam @PandizzeLL @FabrizioRomano In which club does he have more chances of winning trophies in the next 5 years?
Who has the better recent history?
Which club you would want to join?
A. I am going to win 3 trophies with them.
B. The club in their history won 100 trophies.
Also, Rice hasn't decided yet.
@danglemouse@FPLGOAT7 I'm not saying that content creators are wrong here, I'm just that an average player is benefitting a lot ( creators should be proud).
But that's one of the huge reasons the game is becoming boring. One can easily name 9 players that everyone will have because that's the template
@danglemouse@FPLGOAT7 The captain is also supposed to be like that. But if content creators do all the analysis and spend hours to decide who to captain and just spoon feed a casual player, they're all most likely to suggest similar C/VC. And the casual player would know who the majority will go with.
@danglemouse@FPLGOAT7 As long as content creators exist and spoon feed exact transfers and C/VC choices to everyone.
I don't think adding a VC or any rule will change the template.
Lots of people who don't even follow football in general finished 50k just by copying some content creator every week.
@FPLGOAT7 Salah scored 300+ points and was still priced at 13.
No way Haaland more than that. He scored a lot of goals, but he didn't even have the highest points in a season. Almost no assists and no bonus when scoring single goals.
We need to remember it's about points, not goals.
@Garry_wescott@FPLGeneral In that case nobody would want any midfielders.
Currently, apart from Kdb and Bruno, there isn't any standout option in mids if you count the wingers as strikers.
@Nath_Hale @ESPNFC Depends who you have in midfield I'd say.
If it's like tottenham's midfield devoid of creativity, then I'd take Kane over Haaland and as you mentioned Son and Salah running in behind.
If the midfield has creative players like Bruno/Eriksen/KdB I'd definitely go Haaland
