These extremists have now crossed all limits. After attacking Deepak, they are continuing to create and circulate content that harasses people and spreads hatred. This clearly shows how much unchecked freedom such groups seem to be enjoying, raising serious questions about the role and inaction of the @DehradunPolice & Uttrakhand Police .
In another incident, Bajrang Dal members protested against the inclusion of songs from other religions in a school prayer, openly declaring:
“Hamara desh Hindu Rashtra hai… school prayer mein sirf Hindu geet hone chahiye!”
(“Our country is a Hindu nation… only Hindu songs should be part of school prayers.”)
Such actions reflect blatant intimidation, communal pressure, and an attempt to impose a single religious identity on public and educational spaces. This kind of behavior threatens India’s constitutional values of secularism, equality, and social harmony, and demands immediate attention and strict action from the authorities.
