🇧🇩 Energy sovereignty and infrastructure have become central to Bangladesh’s investment agenda. At UNCTAD’s energy transition ministerial at the World Investment Forum today, I spoke about why Invest Bangladesh now brings investment promotion, economic zones and PPP under one roof — so land, structuring and execution can move together.

We now have a pipeline of 15 large solar projects to take forward through PPP structures. The first, at Sonagazi in the country’s south, is being structured on underutilised government land — a replicable model with a clear framework for industrial-scale renewable energy.
