#LifeSkillsandValues Weekend Series: As we close in on this weekend, @UwezoUganda draws you to; resilience/perseverance as another of those unique life skill children need to navigate through in life.

When we #encourage children to try again and again after failing, complete numerous tasks before giving up, or keep practising patiently; they are learning resilience.

When children listen, share, comfort a sibling, help a friend, or notice how others feel, they are building an important social-emotional skill for life.

On 14/04/2026, I facilitated a transformative Career Guidance session for teachers at Kaucho Boys Primary School in Pallisa district, Eastern part of Uganda.

The session explored pathways for career growth, professional development & skill enhancement in modern teaching ways

It was such a powerful session watching the brilliant minds open up to new perspectives, understanding that their dreams are valid and achievable with the right guidance and discipline.

Learners expressed a strong desire to learn and I’m looking forward to returning next term💃

The learners showed enthusiasm , openness throughout the session and many expressed a desire for mentorship and growth.
