Horrified and heartbroken to hear the news that Sean Lock has died. Out of respect for his apparent hatred of Twitter, I’m not going to reduce him to a hashtag but it’s worth finding & reading his sole Tweet. He was probably the greatest comedy genius I’ve ever watched. So sad
@EdibleApple Looks like an error crept in and then even made it past the editor. Couldn’t find a way to DM you or @BGR but I’ll be happy to delete this tweet
Is this #Neowise?
Was northeast at4am so I was roughly Plough in the bottom 😳
Best of several tripod shots. Others used optical zoom, portrait mode, etc., but no tail in any 🥺(hence my doubts, though I do assume it’s #CometNeowise).
Hey, Apple! #AstronomyMode for camera?
Well gosh, what with everything else, I had forgotten all about this year’s extra day on June 31st.
Thanks for the reminder, vaunted Business Insider!

A heads-up for anyone planning to spend much time outdoors today in South #Clapham#Balham and probably many adjacent areas, maybe even further afield than that....
It’s #FlyjngAntDay in these parts
@nationalrailenq Hi - just reporting some issues with your mobile website:
1) Safari warns that you’re an imposter because your certificate has expired (see pic)
2) Station information pages don’t appear to show their London Zone (desktop has it in “Ticket Buying & Collection”)
@arjbrown It’s easy to see how easily a Time War could start without anyone even realising. So when will 33rd-Century Julians celebrate Chinese New Year?
@chris_writes Hi, Mr Smith.... quick question, if I may: is there really now also an “iPhone 11 Pro Plus” in the range or should it say “Pro Max”? I’m not sure if it’s an in-joke or slang I’ve not heard before. I think Pro Plus are caffeine pills so maybe it’s a gag about addiction/ headache?
@Renee_Dudley Hi there. Fascinating Propublica piece of yours about Amazon brands getting top billing within promoted listings, this being an area I’ve monitored myself for over a year. But to what extent is the website still relevant? It’s all quite different in the Amazon app
@arjbrown Funnily enough that had been my original idea for the Tweet: I’d planned to say that I wasn’t getting a June 31st because I’d taken the February 29th this time around, as I’d forgotten 2020 is a Fat June (divisible by 4 & 10, with no more than 3 diff digits by the year value)
The deserted view looking south (ish) toward #Balham (#SouthLondon Zone3) at 03:25 today. In the top-centre is a large-looking Moon which I believe is very close to being full. At the full point, some parts of Earth will enjoy the sight of a #PartialLunarEclipse#LockdownLunarcy
@davidphelan2009 ... feature in your article myself when I recently bought a new phone and I learned some other stuff from you in the article, so this honestly wasn’t intended as any kind of criticism of the article’s content, which was a good read and for which thank you :-) (/finished)
@davidphelan2009 Hello Mr Phelan, sir. Have read (via Forbes in Apple News) an article you’ll write 1yr from now. Specifically, “One Cute Little iOS Trick Has Transformed How I Use My iPhone“ will be published 17 months after Oct 2019.
Is #EarlyEdition still on? Loved that show
@davidphelan2009 Erm, sorry, but I think my attempt at humour has been misunderstood. I was trying light-heartedly to draw your attention to the fact that only 5 months have passed since Oct 2019, not 17, which would be a year from now (hence my time-travel “joke”). I only discovered the (cont’d)
@arjbrown Thanks - I’m far too late, of course. I’ve all but abandoned the Twittersphere and its inbuilt transphobia, vile compartments of hatred and an unlimited number of places where the rice pudding is getting cold - a dumb old space; it’s got work to do
@Bethanyminelle @ScoopDoggSky Hi, loved your #StarTrekPicard article ... until the very end when you refer to it as a “reboot” - it’s not a reboot. A reboot discards previous continuity. The reason it’s such an exciting new series is because it is categorically NOT doing that!
