Dr. Anthony Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment rights to every question Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) asked him during his Senate testimony on Wednesday.

"This isn't about the Constitution, this isn't about the law, this is about contempt," Hawley said. "Contempt for this body and contempt for the American people."

One of Fauci’s attorneys, who was removed from the hearing, told reporters, “Dr. Fauci has a valid Fifth Amendment privilege, and he has the right to assert it.”
