Have you heard of Belarus? Do you care? I spent much time there from 2000-2008 working for a charity. The fear of Lukashenko was immense. I could not talk freely in our hotel rooms as they may have been bugged. Our passports were confiscated twice. It is a dictatorship.

@samsparkes999 Arthur had both of his done at the same time as he was neutered. So interested in his front paws that he I’d not notice his other bits. He had nearly ripped one of them clean off in a cattle grid and the other was sticking out as well. Insurance 🎉

@rorybremner Maybe garden centres. The plants are dying too, DIY stock will still be good no matter how long lockdown lasts. Also, for people like me who are shielding, I cannot leave the house but we have nothing to plant in our garden. It would give me something positive to do.

@mcsuk A couple of years ago I found a huge ball of goose barnacles washed up onto Wembury Beach. They were growing on a large polystyrene mooring buoy. Amazing sight.

Budget airline Ryanair says it expects most of its flights to be grounded from Tuesday.

Aviemore Coylumbridge Hotel sent this letter to staff today. Not just fired but chucked out of their accommodation with no notice and no redundancy pay! @BritanniaLtd Britannia Hotels should be ashamed of themselves. Certainly no "room at the inn" here, disgusting.

@rob_baggies That is such a lovely gesture. I am really worried about the homeless but as I have cancer, have to socially distance myself. The government should be putting funding in to help them along with small businesses etc.

@peterpalmer52 @BallouxFrancois Every time someone says we should not worry too much as it only affects the elderly & vulnerable, my blood wants to boil. I am 66 & have incurable Stage 4 cancer. Maybe I am expendable as I am taking up too much of the valuable NHS’s time. What if, it only affects teenagers?
