Went to my first game in October, 1963. I have sung the Eyes with passion, so much so I lost my voice. But I LOVE these young men who came to play football at UT, and if these things cause them pain, then let’s find something we can all sing together and move on.

A year ago today, we lost Gabriele ‘Gabe’ Grunewald.
Gabe, a professional athlete, cancer research advocate and 2014 USATF Indoor national champion, passed away at the age of 32 after a long battle with cancer.
