Most of the "rational Indians" have personal interests to serve.

Most conversions in India are strategically done in areas that are sparse tribal belts sitting over vast swathes of minerals or some geographically important belt

There is a strong overlay between conversion belt and mineral belt, ironically same place are also where NGOs are active the most
