@itsmetoo92774 250 lb/a higher than normal 🤷‍♀️. Most guys are seeing what you are though, off a bit. This field in general lays wet so may have benefitted from the short term dryness we’ve started into. Can’t say I expect that for second cut though if trends continue.

Never in my life have I cut alfalfa and had it ready to bale 24 hours later. Most beautiful hay we’ve ever made but I’m not sure if I’m happy about that or afraid of the dry-ness this early.

@mbacowboy @blakealbers Adjust margins. Higher on steak, cheap on hamburger. I stay seasonal with cuts (I grind roasts in summer, keep them in winter.)
