@PyromancerYT I swear I remember it being a line when I was running through the questing of Shadowlands. But I can't find any reference to it on the wiki. I would think it was something I made up by mistake if other people I played with were not complaining about it.
@fabqt Its because the normal pvp player base is not going to respect the rp players acting out a scene or a large battle that has rules of engagement to keep the RP side of things manageable.
I want to play hearthstone in an inn in wow forever..
Imagine you could find cards in the world and build your own deck, a little bit like in the Witcher
😭 maybe one day
There's a very big difference between an artist deliberately exaggerating Black people's features in a stereotypical way to make fun of them and an artistic choice that happens to portray Black people in an unconventional way without any racist intent.
This is not racist.
@h4ilhorse Yeah that is kind of what I meant. The filler was written before the the Freiza arc was written. The filler was also saying that Goku's dad was a scientist. The took the idea of saiyans being the greatest warrior race and ran with it. They just assumed the King was the strongest.
@PrimeF9 Making him furry flash also makes him way less interesting as a character. Robotnik would literally not stand a chance due to not being able to perceive him. It upscales everyone around him for really no reason.
So here's a follow up to this post of mine. Most people don't even understand what I meant by the Dash comparison. Sonic on average, is portrayed to be at a normal speeds of supersonic-hypersonic ranges. It's in most of his guides, his character bio ect. Although he is still much faster than Dash, but he's still closer to him than he is to Flash.
Even if you want to say he has immeasurable feats, the only most valid one is from generations's white space, which isn't even well explained. Eggman can also move in white space. So can Omega, Maria, and Gerald, so what? shadow then says he can 'stop a moment in time' in shadow gens.
Many people also say to me 'all speedsters have an inconsistency problem, so it's normal' and while that's kinda true, unlike Flash, Sonic doesn't have a story in the game canon that takes his MFTL, infinite, let alone immeasurable speed to account.
Sonic might have instances were higher speeds can be implied if you read into it in a certain way, but they aren't SOLID evidence of proof like with Wally West Flash, who has ENTIRE NARRATIVES work around him travelling to other worlds in his arcs, time travel, outrun death, runs across solar systems and more with pure speed. Sonic always need some outside help whenever his stories reach this scale.

Capitalism is when you don't make a single decent game since 2007 and then slowly wither away and die because the ESG money dried up and there was no capital to float your dogshit ideas.
Growing up is accepting that Sonic isn't consistently this immeasurable, faster than light character.
Sonic since his inception has always been closer to DASH from the Incredibles, than THE FLASH.
While I think the IDW comics have problems, it's annoying when powerscalers insist for Sonic to use his immeasurable and base 'universal+' scaling to get out of any situation.
People gotta realise, most of Sonic's MFTL/IMMEASURABLE speed feats only started coming once Pontac and Graff in the 2010s came into the franchise. White space was created, and it's nothing more than a poorly explained cosmological space in the franchise. Then came in forces, which allowed Sonic and the avatar to break out of infinite's dimension 'with the power of friendship'.
They're bad writers. And is why USUALLY most of the time, Sonic and his cast are treated in a more grounded sense when it comes to narrative.
In the 2000s, it was VERY hard to even consistently scale base Sonic to light speed+, because Shiro Maekawa, Kiyoko Yoshimura, Akinori, and Iizuka always saw him as a more grounded speedster that fits the adventurous spirit well. Whenever he did something 'dimensional/time breaking' in this era, he always needed a condition to do so; via mystical items like the chaos emeralds, time working differently in the space ect.
How can Sonic be an adventurous series if he can scale the planet or even universe in a picosecond?
Another thing we should realise is that the Sonic series is MUCH more grounded than we think. Cartoon logic doesn't really exist in Sonic. There's a reason why he series has ALOT of SCI-FI elements. In cutscenes we're also seen real physics work accordingly in Sonic.
Heck I'd even say Sonic is more grounded than stuff like Dragon Ball, because magic and otherworld realms(heaven/hell) in dragon ball can casually exist, but with Sonic it's not really the case; most powers are via genetic engineering, robotics, or genetic gifts.
Ask yourself this real quick. If Classic Sonic is also an immeasurable character judging off generations, why did Sonic need chaos control to time travel in 06?
Why did Sonic panic when prison island was going to blow up in a few minutes in SA2?
Why couldn't he seamlessly jog around the broken planet in unleashed to restore the emeralds?

There seems to be a huge disparity between how we each view corporations, which seem to be the biggest source of conflict.
In JP they talk about corporations as if they're a second family. That it's because of them the art even gets made in the first place. To steal from them is to steal from the artist.
In the west, corporations destroyed the trust between corporation and customer a long time ago. They would happily fire their employees who worked hard for them to save money. They would happily make the user experience worse, be purposefully deceptive and even break laws if it makes them money (with very inconsequential punishment). Many times they don't listen to their customers needs, even if they beg for a long time. All they care about is appeasing shareholders and generating profit.
There's no loyalty to the customer or artists anymore, so we have no more loyalty towards them.
Nowadays, it's more like good art is able to be made *despite* corporate interference, not because of it. Even if a piece of media is financially successful, it does not guarantee the artist who created it would be getting paid more. Or even that they get to continue having a job. Typically it just means giving more money to greedy business people, while they lay off the artists who actually created the product. It depends on the company. Some are still good, but they're considered rare.
This is why western people are much more lenient towards piracy. Yes, it's wrong. But it's seen less as stealing from artists, and more as stealing from faceless corporations who are already morally bankrupt.
This is also why pirating independent artists works are much more frowned upon. People are happy to pay so long as they know it's going towards the right people. Yes some people just want free things, but it's a more complex issue than just "westerners are thieves who don't care about creators".
@giappopazzie@MadKamikazius By the same token. if the company that holds the rights no longer exists, it isn't really theft either. It's more like finding something on the side of the road without an owner. And no one comes to claim it.
@MadKamikazius@giappopazzie I would assume that's because the rights holders are not around anymore to actually pursue legal action. Its a different situation from someone who holds the rights and just isn't selling the product for some reason.
@ExpiredGoblogna Do you have any suggestions for someone who wants to learn? Seeing your art has made me think its something I can do since it is is primarily traditional.
