@R_MFC_1885 Years ago, on the ferry to Dublin someone asked me if I'd got on at Holyhead. She was so hammered (it was a rugby weekend) that she was impressed when I said that I'd swam the first half of the journey and flagged the boat down.
@ceritheviking@AwayDaysFB The two that this collector doesn't have were... a 22 team league before 95-96 and this collection must be from that earlier era due to an absent ever present club. Can't work out which season though. Maybe span more than one season.
@ceritheviking@1matthewburgess@AllWalesSport Certainly sounds like they were the aggressors. Fact that there was an ECB employed minder there with the cricketers will be a key factor in how this plays out I think.
@harriet_symonds The implied idea that flooding the constituency with Labour MPs would help Burnham is genuinely amusing. He's in the fight in spite of the national party, not because of it. If they are genuinely pissed off with him they'll turn up and infect his campaign with their malaise.

FIFA make last-gasp change to World Cup stadium rules: BANNING fans from bringing refillable plastic bottles, so fans must buy water in stadia
As of May, empty bottles permitted so fans could refill amid heat concerns. Not now

@ceritheviking@TheCanaryUK The coal went around the world, the money earned from it went in the pockets of a few capitalists of various nationalities, including Welsh. It's a class issue, not a nationality one.
@ceritheviking@Joe___Allen Isn't it one the most important petrochemical terminals in the country and as such the driver behind all the related jobs in the energy sector. It's quite important.
@Benjwinst 🙋🏻♂️ It's because we haven't learned. Groundhog performances. The same failings causing us to give up goals and lose points without being fixed. It's so frustrating, especially as there are options. It isn't a bare bones squad. He has options to change things.
@MattJFootball This is the problem and why alarm bells are ringing. Taken in isolation selection mistakes or poor performances don't cause panic, but when you've conceded pretty much the same goal, at the same stage of the game because of the same failing six times in a row questions arise.
@gallagherbren58@rugby_ap Only because the prem rugby rules are that players contracted to English clubs have to take up an England u20 place if selected. It is part of the poaching process. To moan when players then play for their home nation is rich indeed.

“He’s cost £60k, He never put a foot wrong, He gave his all, he popped up with the odd goal and was a fantasy managers dream in his prime. still, there goes one of the cheapest and best defenders of the premier league”
