@GarethCliff I registered with the DMA to delist from all these ‘marketing’ lists. Didn’t matter. I only got marginally less spam calls.
I strongly suspect that even supposedly respectable institutions have within them corrupt officials who are selling our numbers to the spammers.
@RealJamesWoods You get the government you deserve, unless you voted against it—if so, you have my sympathies.
If, however, you didn’t vote at all, which I heard many didn’t, you got the government you deserve.
Vote, even if it’s for the least terrible candidate.
@ta_sneath@nealasher@Keir_Starmer I think it's worse than that. I think he*does* see it, there's no romanticization going on.
I think the true horror of this is that he and creatures like him fully understand what they're doing.
The level of malice that they harbour towards the indigenous Brit is unfathomable.
@nealasher@UNGeneva@antonioguterres I’ve become very cynical about ideologues, so many turn out to be utter frauds and hypocrites.
It seems to me that the ones screaming the loudest about this are the ones that believe it the least. There’s always a grift involved, for money, power or status or all three.
@GBNEWS You have become partisan propagandists. I can no longer tell you apart from the MSM.
The Farage channel.
You should be ashamed at your lack of journalistic integrity & neutrality, this was shamelessly transparent.
Oh, but you're just posting somebody else's opinions, right?
@EricLDaugh You get the government you deserve.
NYC is getting precisely that.
The—what is it? Two million?—that didn't vote in the election?
You voted for this by not voting.
If all choices at the ballot are bad, vote for the least terrible candidate.
Don't vote at all? Then shut up.
@GPrime85 It's an ability an artist should acquire during training, but IMHO what makes art is the interpretation of reality, the filter of perception, not slavish reproduction.
As Scott McCloud showed, the broader the artistic abstraction of the human face, the wider the relatability.
@nealasher The impulse of evolution is ever upwards, increasing autonomy of the individual, enabling transcendence of the previous state.
Bad news for commie bastards. All attempts to turn us into a hive must fight billions of years of relentless evolutionary intent.
So they'll never win.
@Recon1_ZA I've lived here since I was 6, and while it has much to recommend it, yes some people are great, it has to be said, it's largely a very mercenary, fractious society. Few give a damn about anybody else.
If you lose your home & have no living family, no stranger is coming to help.
@Rocknstv62@LifeNewsHQ With choices come responsibility for those choices.
The father, according to such people, has no rights regarding his unborn child. Only responsibilities if she decides not to murder it.
So she has rights but no responsibilities, and he has responsibilities but no rights.
@RupertLowe10@bigbrainsteve Reform will not deport a single illegal. They're Tory 2.0.
Farage showed his true colours in that Winston Marshall interview.
Nobody would be happier than me to be proven wrong. I want to be wrong about them.
Something tells me that's not going to happen.
@0Rebornone@nealasher@Keir_Starmer That's the problem though. This is what a real life villain often looks like: a bland, dead-eyed marshmallow man.
A sociopathic Soviet apparatchik who's vaguely aroused by inflicting mass misery.
Not an evil moustache-twirling Bond villain, which is why many never see him coming.
