Here's a short video of the progress on the train game I'm developing showing track creation and ride-on camera. The user interface is very much a placeholder. #GodotEngine#indiedev#gamedev#GODOT
@MansionGames@TesuraGames@JanduSoft Will it have difficulty levels? It looks awesome but it also looks like it could be really difficult and lead to rage quitting.
I decided my game should have a tutorial level, which means I need some menus. The list of items required before I can release a demo is getting shorter. #GodotEngine#Indiegame
My train set game now has a dock that receives passenger and cargo deliveries. Hopefully getting close to asking for beta testers to give it a try. #trains#GODOT#indiegame
So it turns out it's been a few years since I posted but I've recently started work on my game again. The old version wasn't maintainable so it's been rewritten from scratch. Train and cars are working again.

@reduzio 1. A Step out button in the debugger
2. UI creation is complicated and often doesn't work the way you think it should (you put certain control nodes inside others and don't get the behaviour you'd expect)
@MarcusSkov@emi_cpl Is there any support for a following camera that always sits behind the player (hopefully with a tween to smooth out when the player changes direction)?

@VolumeGamesLLC Watching the trailer I'm confused why there's brown smoke? dust? coming off the cars after they jump when on dirt roads. If they're damaged that makes sense, but it looks very strange to me in the trailer. I would expect dust clouds only when you're touching the ground.
