Bringing young carers together for #CarersWeek2023 - we took some of Slough's young carers to meet Hounslow Young Carers, run by @BrentfordFCCST - we had a lovely evening connecting with each other - thank you to everyone involved. #CarersWeek

Day 4 of #CarersWeek2023 & the theme today is all about the young carers.

And an opportunity to remind ppl that YCs are children first & all children deserve a childhood.

How can we help? Better identification so support can be put in place to help reduce the need for care.

[SloughYoungCarers @SloughYC]

This week is #CarersWeek
Please reflect on the young people in your life.
If a young person is supporting a family member with an illness, disability, addiction or other frailty they could be a young carer.
If you're not sure, let's have a conversation.🗣️
