Today we are celebrating America’s 250th anniversary ❤️🇺🇸
As a teen, Elon was determined to move to America. He did, and Kimbal, Tosca and I followed. Despite my American background, it took me 12 years to become an American citizen.
My father, Joshua Norman Haldeman was born in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, in 1902.
My grandfather, John Elon Haldeman, was born in Richmond, Illinois, in 1871.
My great grandfather, Jeremiah Haldeman was born in Wharton Furnace, Pennsylvania, in 1846.
My great-great-grandfather, Elon Powers was born in Syracuse, New York, in 1803.
My family is so proud to be Americans. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great talk with @SpeakerJohnson last night.
The House has passed the SAVE America Act and other similar versions of the bill three times.
Speaker Johnson is as committed as ever to ensuring it becomes law, including keeping it on the NDAA (a “must pass” bill) as it comes over from the House to the Senate, and fighting for it thereafter.
He assured me that MIRV process will guarantee the two bills are merged and received in the Senate as one bill, with the SAVE America Act in the base text.
We introduced two pieces of legislation.
The first requires Members of Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers to be natural born citizens.
The second goes further, barring anyone holding citizenship, nationality, or allegiance to a foreign country from serving in any federal role unless they permanently cut every foreign tie.
America first. 🇺🇸
🚨 MASSIVE VICTORY IN NORTH CAROLINA!
The NC Legislature just steamrolled the Democrat governor’s veto and slammed through a tough new law, NO MORE taxpayer-funded welfare, housing, or handouts for illegal aliens!
Plus, state law enforcement must now team up with ICE to get deportations done.
Taxpayers have been footing the bill for this madness long enough. Time to put American citizens FIRST!
Senate Bill 153 is now the law of the land.
Huge win for common sense in NC!
@OcrazioCornPop "Actively" working ? What's the definition of this bcuz some of my family members can do one thing in a day and they call it " going hard".....lol
