Here are the NBA Games that Matter for April 14th⬇️
TLDR at the end‼️
This is VERY important for your prop bets today as taking guys in games that do or don't matter could be the entire reason a prop hits or misses today
CLE vs CHA:
Charlotte lol. Coach not returning for next SZN and they have been "developing" young players all season so don't expect much from them here. Cleveland still has a chance at 2nd Seed so expect them to play as normal, but Garland is already doubtful and Mitchell is OUT so either they accept their most likely fate at the 4th seed or they really are not worried about their bench taking care of Charlotte? IDK
ATL vs IND:
ATL Locked into their seed, but likely use this game to get guys in rhythm again with Trae Young as he just returned. HUGE Implications for the Pacers though since a win should keep them out of the play-in.
CHI vs NYK:
Chicago has 0 importance and likely rest everyone but Knicks have shot at 2 seed if Bucks lose so they should go all-out
TOR vs MIA:
Toronto will continue to develop their young pieces. Miami also has huge seeding implications and have an outside chance at avoiding the play-in entirely
MIL vs ORL:
Bucks lock in 2nd seed with a win, and can fall as far as 4th with a loss. Orlando can finish anywhere between 5-8. Huge for both teams and both should go all-out here.
BKN vs PHI:
BKN will continue to develop their younger role-player guys that have been getting more run and since those guys are fighting for roles for next season, they should be taking it seriously for sure. Clowney should start alongside Claxton again and all vets should continue to rest outside of Mikal Bridges thanks to his Ironman streak. PHI can finish anywhere between 5-8 seed as well so they will go all-out themselves.
DEN vs MEM:
Same as BKN, MEM will continue to play younger guys that will use this opportunity they have not gotten in the past to showcase themselves for future years. After losing to SAS, Denver is back in a dog fight for seeding between 1st and 3rd in the West so they need to secure a win here if they want to avoid the 3 spot they are currently in
PHX vs MIN:
Both teams are going try-hard mode here. MIN could get the 1 seed. PHX could climb to the 6th seed if they win and NOP lose to Lakers.
LAL vs NOP:
LAL lock in all-important 8 seed if they win. NOP Lock in the even-more-important 6 seed if they win. That seeding could be huge for both teams and Brandon Ingram should return for NOP, this one should be very interesting.
DAL vs OKC:
Dallas will rest players but OKC lock the 1 seed with a win, soooooo for betting purposes I would stay away as OKC might run away with it, but there is some significance to the game
UTA vs GSW:
UTA pretty much tanking/Developing young guys. Must-win for GSW fighting to hopefully get to the 8 seed and only need 1 win in the play-in rather than 2 if they finish in 9/10
POR vs SAC:
Portland will continue to give the keys to Scoot and let him develop. Sacremento fighting in the 8-10 spot so it is very important for them
Games that don't matter for either team:
WAS/BOS
DET/SAS
HOU/LAC
Look for teams with young talent to rest the vets and give their youth pieces some extended run here
Games that matter for 1 of the 2 teams:
CHA/CLE
TOR/MIA
CHI/NYK
BKN/PHI
DEN/MEM
DAL/OKC
UTA/GSW
POR/SAC
Games that matter for BOTH Teams:
ATL/IND
MIL/ORL
PHX/MIN
LAL/NOP
