Man @KXAN_Weather was useless for this. The Roku app's just a recorded feed from earlier and has no live coverage. I was streaming from the website and it went down after 5 minutes. Very disappointing.

So like, it had a LOT of postgame, but I feel like it wasn't as fun as how modern Pokèmon takes a TON of the grinding out of postgame training.

I'm like, the only person on the planet who did not like Pokemon GS. I didn't even play HGSS because I disliked GS so much I didn't play again until Gen V.

I played HGSS a few years ago and it definitely has a lot to do. I was doing a full Live Pokedex and needed a lot from it. In hindsight it was all fiddly, annoying stuff, like day-of-week based trainer battles.

Just reminded of the "Scully Effect" - that girls who watched the X-files were more likely to pursue careers in science- but this ignores the bigger "Mulder Effect" which inspired a whole generation of young men to become socially awkward porn addicted conspiracy theorists.
