@NukitToBeSure@marijuanacomau@Despeziel@ThisHouseFresh@SmartairUk I think you're right that we need to be thinking about air purification differently. If people aren't turning on the purifiers in their classrooms, the most effective strategy would be to redesign the system, not lecture people about turning them on.
@_CatintheHat Great! Thanks for sharing. 👏 I'm going to read the details now. I'm particularly interested in the non-linear effects part (said like a true nerd 🤓).
@LazarusLong13 Yeah, that's important to remember about the WHO Global Burden of Disease report methodologies: it's about current harms caused by these things. So, for example, if smoking rates go down, the harm of smoking goes down. But it doesn't mean that smoking itself got less harmful.
@farhadali@Quora I wonder if CO2 levels around 1,000-2,000 PPM would make people sleep less efficiently. It seems like a reasonable hypothesis, but I haven't read any study testing that before.
@Quora asks: If I sleep in a bedroom with the doors and windows closed, why isn't oxygen dangerously depleted? Here's why (with real-world tests!).

@farhadali@Quora That's a good question! In terms of oxygen levels in the room, it should be fine. What will change is CO2. In our test, CO2 went way up. Now, is that a problem? I'm not sure. 🤔 People talk about drowsiness and worsened cognitive performance from those levels, but while sleeping?

I enjoyed getting the chance to talk about why people in collectivistic cultures agree LESS with survey items about identifying with relationships. Thanks to the hardworking people at @PsychScience for putting together the conference! 👏 #APSBarcelona26
@VentiloAngel Reading this, it seems I've been having trouble anticipating when my conversation would upset you. I'm sorry. 😣 I think it's probably best if I stop responding for a few days. But I want to say I appreciate your work and data! 🤩
