@ExpatJake Canada Budget 2023 page 212. By 2027-2028 federal debt interest will be $50.3B out of a total budget expense of $556.9B with total revenues expected to be $542.8B for another deficit of $14.1B and no balance to be seen. GST will raise $59.4B almost all consumed by debt interest.

Read Weinstein, Darvas, O’Neil, Minervini and Graham investing books. Should have bought $PLPC on Aug 5th 2022 breakout, but didn’t find the stock until later. Bought Feb 1 for $89. It closed today just shy of $150. 69% gain in a few months. 3 methods: divs, cov calls, Weinstein.

@CrnchyMama @davenewworld_2 I see about 1500 used electric cars and 1900 used gasoline/hybrid cars within 250kms of Toronto on AutoTrader Canada. Maybe there are more available than one might think. Though many used EVs are from an era of 150km to 200km range cars which is far too limited for me. Hybrid ok

@gothnate @buccocapital For someone on minimum wage the goal really needs to be to find a path to a better income. Saving on minimum wage is definitely a struggle. Generally advice on investing is meant for anyone who has the ability to set aside some money to invest.
