@ewarren I’m old enough to remember when Republicans went nuts because Hillary allegedly asked corporations to donate to Clinton Foundation to help feed the world. This…no biggie. Sheesh
@AsteadWH I am a tried and true anti-Trump Democrat. Shame on the party for not properly vetting a candidate in a very winnable state. Simply can’t back him. @kenmartin73
@PollTracker2024 I’d love to accuse him of being a lying, manipulative, cheat. Perhaps he is…but based on his track record, think he’s just a dim, idiot who has no business in government no less any job where thinking is required.
@jonfavs I would love to see the Dems take the Senate.
But, I have to say, seeing people I truly respect, dig in after getting duped by a candidate and ignoring heinous stuff (the infidelity alone isn’t the issue) to win a seat feels gross. Yes, one party has to own high ground
@RedState Add @RepNancyMace to the long list of people who sold their soul for Trump only to be unceremoniously blindsided by the man. Once a flawed but honest broker, she became a sycophantic shill and now she stands alone…like so many fools before her.
@Acyn If I rooted against every player who I disagreed with or showed a lack of judgement off the field, I’d have to give up the enjoyment of sports. I think @JaxsonDart’s choice was wrong. But, I’m a @Giants fan, he’s 23 and dopey, so I’ll still root for his success on Sundays!
@ChrisCillizza This is a wrong take. The lesson is don’t look weak. Don’t be a coward. Don’t go halfway. Don’t look disingenuous. Don’t look like a liar. Don’t look like you don’t believe the words coming out of your mouth.
FAR be it from me to suggest that this white house has lost their fingers on the pulse of Americans moods right now
but who on earth is this video for?
Everyone is entitled to an opinion. But when you’re @joncaramanica - @nytimesmusic CRITIC and you have the bumbling, fumbling, inane rationale on @billyjoel that I just heard on your Top 30 songwriter conversation - I have to ask: how is this person a music critic?
@jonfavs I want Dems to win the Senate very badly. I also don’t believe someone should be judged by their worst decisions and hope Mr. Platner leads a happy, productive life.
But, some bad choices should mean you’re not the Dem candidate for Senate. Party and Maine should do better.
At some point soon, if he hasn’t already, Steve Cohen is going to ask David Stearns how a 340 million payroll has so many glaring holes. This roster, absent a few guys, shouldn’t cost nearly this much. #mets
@jason_kint@Acyn Let’s be clear: it’s people like @DAGToddBlanche that make this country less safe. A weak, spineless clown who simply jumps at the whim of his dear leader. Our government needs to be better. That means checking leadership when they are putting you on a hamster wheel
@FT There is no limit to how these sycophants will placate this raving narcissist. It actually bothers me less that he pushes for it than the weak-minded, weak-willed jackasses that simply accept it and don’t defend the basic honor of our country to not deify our President.
I hold the value of Israel dearly.
It is imperative that it serves as a beacon of hope for Jews globally; including the right to have a fierce response to atrocities like 10/7.
That said: it is passed time to acknowledge that @netanyahu is the biggest threat to its future
