@KristenWenrichk This is a great point! With having an assignment like the HTWG we were able to design our writing in a way that allowed for creativity. Would definitely mention this in your reflection. #writ318mu
@BrenTaylor23_ Being able to practice writing in a different format rather than just an essay format was very helpful. This something that you can mention in your reflection. It's a great point to make about how your writing process has changed since being in this class. #writ318mu
@KristenWenrichk I like being able to go back and edit my work as well. The feedback given is also helpful and I'm glad there with be feedback for this last reflection assignment. #writ318mu
@recipes_4math I would have to agree with you on that. Having an interest in something that you are learning about is a great motivator to do the work. This is great point that you can add into your reflection as well. #writ318mu
@EliOmahen That’s great! I feel like we forget writing can be creative, but also to the point. I hope you continue to use what you learned with your writing especially in this reflection piece as our last assignment :) #writ318mu
@molovesphoebe One tip that might help with strengthening your introduction would be to give a good thesis statement and then work from there. Once you have that you can then organize the flow of your body paragraphs. Hope this helps :) #writ318mu
@BrenTaylor23_ I would also agree that gaining knowledge about certain topics is the best part about learning because you are retaining new information. This a great point that you could add into your essay as a reflecting part about your learning in this class. #writ318mu
What I like most about my learning; the ability to adapt and work on on things that I know I could improve on. I liked going back and making improvements where my peers and Dr. P gave feedback on. To me that’s where most of my learning took place. #writ318mu
@recipes_4math Taking the time to write an outline before drafting your essay is a great idea because allows you to stay organized. Doing this also allows you to make more edits and revisions in your essay. #writ318mu
@recipes_4math That’s great you included the four skills. I think this is a great foundation for your essay. You could even have these be your main focus and write a paragraph about each. #writ318mu
What I like most about my essay right now would be my introduction. I feel like I give enough details about content but not too much where I spoil everything that I talk about in the body. #writ318mu
I will work on adjusting my essay in the body of my essay. I feel as if strengthen the points I make in the this section will make it easier to connect points I make in the introduction and conclusion. #writ318mu
@tmwalterss Putting critical thinking and communication together is a great way to describe what writing demonstrates. Communicating information to your audience shows critical thinking skills. #writ318mu
@slwilli3 I like how you mentioned creativity as expressing your own thoughts that go outside of the social standards. It’s a way for you to be unique with the things you create. #writ318mu
Writing demonstrates critical thinking because you are sharing your own thoughts and connections that you make to them. Sometimes writing requires you to think outside of box. #writ318mu
I communicate creativity by displaying my own ideas through design. Using design elements that are unique to me and are created by me through the inspiration of others. #writ318mu
@tmwalterss I like how you added comprehension to communication. Understanding the information that is being communicated is a big part of learning from others. #writ318mu
@EliOmahen What a great way to describe collaboration. Through your explanation I see a lot of these ideas that happen in our writ318 discourse community. #writ318mu
