@Mburdge18 hmm I love your emphasis on multimodal communication. I feel this course especially highlighted this, pushing us to not just revert to the traditional essay format as the sole way to communicate something. #writ318mu
@DelferroJake I love how you made this connection between two of the critical skills. Would you say collaboration is working to communicate with each other or more working together to communicate something to an audience? #writ318mu
@DelferroJake hmm I never thought of defining critical thinking in this way but I agree. This is such a concise yet meaningfully packed way to consider what critical thinking is. It takes intentionality to make this happen which is a huge part of critical thinking. #writ318mu
@BrenTaylor23_ Yes I def appreciated Dr. P's emphasis on different ways to create writing content other than the traditional essay. For me, I loved creating Power Points with both paragraphs and bullet point formats. #writ318mu
@EliOmahen That's awesome! and haha def relatable! I've never been a very emotional writer so I'm sure my writing can sound very blunt and emotionless sometimes. And with the 280 word limit on twitter, writing in this class has def pushed me to be concise! #writ318mu
For me I appreciate my learning most when the content is applicable to my current or future practices. It is hard for me to have motivation if I do not see the greater purpose of taking the time to learn the content. #writ318mu
@Smfoster22 I also appreciated having the peer and professor feedback! I feel the use of twitter made peer feedback more useful and effective, and pushed me to actually take them into account and modify my work. #writ318mu
Something I am proud of in my writing process is how I take the time to write an outline before jumping into drafting. I feel it really helps me create a clear thought process and connecting my writing as a whole. #writ318mu
One thing I like how I wrote my essay was subtly incorporating the four skills of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity into my essay in my discussion without just addressing these one by one. I feel this shows greater learning connection. #writ318mu
As Christmas nears, I'm starting to crave peppermint flavored things! One of my favorite candies to suck on is just the classic peppermint! #writ318mu#drpgame
I've been baking a lot of chocolate chip cookies lately! This is a pic from the recipe I use! It's a classic cookie but in my opinion one of the best! #writ318mu#drpgame
While creativity is often thought of as something in the art world, it is in fact crucial to any form of communication. It involves using tools available to express something, anything in a unique way. #writ318mu
@hlarrowo I love how you emphasized that it's more than just something expressed in art which I feel can be a common misconception of creativity. #writ318mu
@hlarrowo Hmm this is definitely thought provoking! If anything, this course stressed to me how content is so much more than just the text or topic! and your definition you have hear definitely encompasses more than that! #writ318mu
Communicating is no doubt a fine art. It involves translating a mumble jumble of ideas in your head into concise, sensible words in a way that your listeners can in a sense understand what is going on in your head #writ318mu
