#nationalofferday where we find out which school we've been offered. Except, once we know, the LA then has to see if that school can meet needs, because we have an #EHCP. More hoops to jump through, more waiting and uncertainty. But yeah, sure, it's a #goldenticket.

@LeeBraganza Keep all the holidays as they are with the exception that all half term breaks should be two weeks.
I was so annoyed when I heard the talk of reducing the summer holidays.

It's rife in schools.

@MorrisonBeth @tes @bphillipsonMP I wonder if she has considered the number of 'complaints' (calls/meetings/letters) from schools to parents and how much parental time this takes up (spoiler: she hasn't).
If schools understood the law, children and relationships these complaints she mentions would reduce.

@75ThunderRoad There's also another group hugely affected; the parents and carers of those children who are managing a huge mental load of supporting children and schools whilst often trying to hold down jobs (if they haven't had to give them up) and having to fight LAs.
