Some of the dazzling partner balances fifth graders created on day 1 of educational gymnastics. Next they will explore partner balances using the concepts of counterbalance and countertension.

@pehealth3318 Yes! To start, we show a slide about expectations. We start on the floor, and once they explore and are safe on the floor we incorporate equipment. It’s helpful to provide them with examples and take about how they can connect and use different bases of support etc.

Second graders working hard on their underhand strikes to targets with paddles. Beanbags start in the center. Earn a bean bag for every successful strike for your team. Partners switch roles after four strikes. Capture more bean bags than your opponents for each round!
