I have given up on getting married next year and starting a family due to being stuck in a worthless flat with dangerous cladding and fire safety issues.
Wish 🧀, 🥩, and 🥔 were my only problem.

Thanks for the extra trauma @HomesEngland. Cause, you know, my flammable home & £101k bill definitely hadn’t caused enough.
@michaelgove@RishiSunak no wonder you’re not resolving this crisis if this is the sentiment held by your employees.
Abhorrent.

"I did five shifts & I nearly didn’t make it in for my fifth one. I just parked up at the side of the road & I thought do I want to do this anymore?” Our paramedics might seem invincible but they're humans too and they're working hard to care for patients. #ThankYouNHS#Ambulance
“Please promise you’re going to help.” A heartbreaking plea from an 8 year old girl to @BorisJohnson 💔
Thank you to @DailyMirror for covering this devastating but important story.

Spent part of my Sunday planning escape routes with my husband, in case there’s a fire in our block of flats. We’ve decided to buy a rope and harnesses to lower our kids to a lower floor. @RobertJenrick how did you spend your weekend? #EndOurCladdingScandal
Newham council has just voted to scrutinise all new building applications from developers to include whether their existing buildings have unresolved cladding issues. The first council in the country! Go @NewhamLondon!

Yes! The @BishopStAlbans amendment to the #FireSafetyBill passes by 326 to 248 votes 💪💪💪
The bill will return to @HouseofCommons soon & the Govt will not be able to avoid a vote this time
📧 Please make sure your MP knows which way to vote!

The icing on the cake this week: a £11,300 bill for my flat's cladding and fire safety remediation. That's 59% of my entire take home pay for the year. For negligence that took place when I was 10 years old. That never showed up on surveys #EndOurCladdingScandal@McrCladiators
With no end in sight, hundreds of thousands are trapped in unsafe homes, wondering how long they can cope with soaring costs.
They were promised clarity at the Budget, but the Chancellor didn’t even mention cladding. I raised it again with the Govt today.

When you come home from work, just want a takeaway but you get your ground rent bill £218, service charge bill £979 and your flat still isn’t safe! @Bellwayhomes1@ukcag#EndOurFireSafetyScandal#NHS
We're incredibly disappointed with the outcome of today's debate.
Tonight, millions of leaseholders will go to sleep in their unsafe homes, feeling abandoned by their government.
We're taking stock and will be back for the fight tomorrow.

As I suspected, the Government didn’t even permit a vote on any of the amendments in the Commons to the Fire Safety Bill. Clearly fearful of the outcome. What sort of democracy refuses to even allow a vote to take place?
A building in Kent spent £500k on waking watch. Thanks for raising this @LabourSJ they aren’t alone, we aren’t far behind them and have spent £400k to date.
After spending almost £400k on waking watch and £100k on a fire alarm last year, our waking watch has been reinstated at cost to us, again. Meanwhile at another block fire services are called out to a fire in a waking watch cabin. Thanks for reporting @Independent@b_c_chapman
