Unfortunately couldn't get through much writing, as work and other things got quite hectic. But we're getting there! :')

Been kind of AWOL from Twitter and will likely continue to be. But finished drafting Chapter 1 sometime last week and working on Chapter 2. Fingers crossed I can get that done by the end of the month. :')

August has been a slower month for sure. We've got some writing done (fingers crossed I get through with the direction of most of Chapter 1), though, and assets are getting drafted.

Took a sick day from work since my sore throat is not happy at me for overdoing it this weekend. And managed to crank out a really solid chunk of script (or at least for a slow writer)?

Which is all to say, jumping on the public shame bandwagon isn't always the most productive thing, especially when consequences have been had.

The point has been made, now give them space. It's still up to them to change, but no one thinks clearly with a knife to their throat.

I'm a sensitive person. I also actively seek and accommodate constructive criticism. And it hurts every time.

I have many blindspots and make tons of mistakes. Some have no consequences. Others have huge ones - rightfully so.

I am grateful for the lessons they've taught me.

I have an overwhelming urge to put the Playing the Favorite cast into a Modern AU because I LOVE Modern AUs.

Gimme that meet-a-cute at a coffee shop or the florist/tattoo artist combo. That sweet slice of life is just so good.

But only after I write the main story first. :')
