There are great writers who can make a book interesting from the first few pages. But Craven grabs you from the very first line of the opening page! It’s already exciting from that first line! From this opening, the readability never drops, and the story races all the way to the end.
I finished M. W. Craven’s latest book, “The Final Vow” (published in Japan under the title “Bloody Dice Murders” in two volumes). Wow! It’s incredibly exciting! As expected, “Washington Poe” is something special. It’s so good that you almost can’t read anything else after reading it. You become addicted to Poe. I’m also happy to see the members of the “SCAS (Serious Crime Analysis Section)” team brought back together after being disbanded in the previous book. An apparently untouchable serial sniper VS. Poe and the others. The characters are fantastic, but it’s also a police novel, as well as a hard-boiled novel involving the military and intelligence agencies. The usual movie references are also enjoyable. And for fans of the series, the ending will make you go, “What?!” Highly recommended!
