It's not too early to start preparing for fireworks, we've already had them going off by the centre.

A little doggy den can go a long way to helping dogs feel secure, setting up now will help them see it as a safe space to play with their toys and eat their treats in peace.

We went to Sefton Park today for the International Greyhound Walk, but turns out we were a day early. We still had a nice walk somewhere new, and Leo met four other greyhounds.

Sadly, muzzled dogs can spend longer in our care before finding their forever homes 😔 We hope that by educating people about the variety of reasons for muzzling dogs, we can help to change the negative stigma.

Guaranteed to be the cutest little man you see today! Dusty is an absolute charmer, it's not hard to see why.

You can find out more about him here, and maybe even apply to adopt him? https://t.co/l5RQHfZQyb

Fostering is phenomenal, requires a huge ❤️ and lots of tissues! 😭The dogs we have in our Home From Home scheme are there temporarily, it's not a permanent home. Please consider adopting one of our HFH dogs, it frees up these wonderful people to help us help more dogs 💛

Last Sunday I joined other volunteers and staff at the rescue centre walking some dogs off site at Crosby Beach 🏖️

This is Stella. She can smile on command. It is even more adorable than it sounds. 13/10

Was in Bryggen this morning. Everyone else was taking photos of the old, wooden buildings (very pretty), but I was taking photos of this very good boy/girl chilling outside a shop.
