@fellowcreative @MedwayPolitics Happy 3rd birthday to Local Authority, a great way to keep in touch with what is going on in Medway. Here's to many more.
Why are there so many homeless people? I have passed 4 sleeping on the street but wheelchair bound! Does the provision of a wheelchair not come with a duty if care?
Like walking, running or wheeling?
Why not use your next walk to help create a national walking network that we can all enjoy?
Here's a thread of ways you can #GiveAHike and help with #SlowWays!

Really inspired by women at the Inspirational Women in STEM and Construction awards. Interesting discussion around improving education opportunities, relatable role models and creating opportunities to inspire and encourage in a range of careers. @businessstem#IBWISC2023
We had caterpillars similar to these on our apple trees, they appeared in a huge ball in the join between branches. It might have been useful in the article to give an idea of where these caterpillars might be found. The name suggests oak trees but maybe any tree?
@MedwayMessenger Looks like the highest turnout across all constested wards was 35.11% (Hempstead and Wigmore). It is vital for democracy at both local and national level that participation is high. Otherwise the majority of the population, especially young families, are not represented.
BUT I now know about this, and so will others who are watching similar. They seem to be community driven and are another example of how we can be sharing resources in resilient communities.

Really interested to hear about Withernsea banking hub. Why is there not much more talk about these. Just watched a BBC Breakfast article where this innovative idea was considered less important than moaning about the loss of high street banks.
I hardly ever tweet, but this idea of heating pools with the heat of data processing centres has to be one of the coolest partnership ever

If your school is thinking about doing our #BSW23 activity, 'How clean is your air', this could be great preparation for the Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel challengeΒ https://t.co/lI6rZEOHSR

Thjs activity will get school communities asking questions about the school run and thinking about the effect on air quality and how changes in behaviour can make a huge difference #AirQuality

I would certainly use this. Lack of information, often gets in the way of making decisions. If I know my bus isn't going to arrive anytime soon, I can make other arrangements. @ArrivaUKBus
