@darthcap1tal@connoruru In the time the Saudis have been owners of Newcastle, they have done only good. Nothing has been political, while Elon's entire reason for buying Liverpool would be politically motivated. The Saudis haven't stopped our club celebrating gay pride or called for a new UK election.
@darthcap1tal@connoruru I expected this to come up. The Saudis are not meddling in the UK's political affairs. We don't protest American owners when they have a school shooting in America. The Saudis may have their own societal problems, but they don't attempt to directly influence our country like Elon
@tobysomeoneb @AmorimEra_ Top talent is always going to be expensive. It's very rare to find a true bargain that fits straight into a first-team at the highest level. Yet we found Minteh who cost us 7m, and then we sold him for 30m without him even playing a game for us.
@AmorimEra_ You would've had our owners too if your club wasn't so expensive. In a way, your trophy cabinet priced you out of a deal. Now you're stuck with the American Mike Ashley family. Absolutely mad.
@RicoMUTD @AmorimEra_ You couldn't be more wrong. As soon as we got new owners the Premier League's alarm bells started ringing and they changed the rules. The money is our own that wasn't spent for years, with as much investment as the rules introduced after the takeover allowed.
@Kelltheblue@Keir_Starmer@UKLabour@Conservatives It's entirely driven by the owner of the platform's political motivations. Bluesky is looking like a breath of fresh air. I've muted every word and account to avoid politics, and it still breaks through. It seems clear that those who follow Elon's narrative get boosted.
@MoArsenal86 It's so funny seeing Arsenal fans drool over our players, man. First, it was Bruno, now it's Isak. Just admire our players without pretending they're yours 🤷🏼♂️
Alexander Isak’s Inspiring Path from Childhood to Global Football Stardom
It’s rare to find a footballer of East African descent who inspires as many generations as Alexander Isak, the Swedish-Eritrean soccer hero
An interesting Thread 🧵
@themagic_tophat@wantabiggerboat@johncrossmirror "Refusing" is entirely incorrect. There has been no offer of a new contract, so there's nothing to refuse. You're salivating at the idea of Isak being unsettled when, in fact, he is very happy where he is and has said that multiple times.
@danielj1247 @jhprivatee@nufc3000@jason_connolly@ForbiddenShirts@HLTCO You're not too bright if you think that's proof that it's an accident. There is no proof. He's the only one in control of his actions and the only one who knows it it was an accident or not, that's why I'm saying it's pointless arguing that topic or claiming you have evidence 🤣
