Nanoo. Nanoo.

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@CorpseKings About 1980 from memory. That’s when we moved on to other games like Runequest and The Fantasy Trip

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu @A_DungeonDelver I only allow the one attempt per group of undead

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@bigdaddybunce He’s done the right thing. Fair play to him

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu Clubs and maces are useless against Zombies. The only way to defeat them is by chopping them to pieces or burning them.

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@memeslich I ran it before there was eldritch blast

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@Nerdcognito Don’t put your hand in that mouth

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@TfL D Stock knee space heaters

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu Cast invisibility on the cream

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu I haven’t read a great many. I found Salem’s lot very good. His Bachman book, The Long Walk also. I recently read Fairy Tale but after a very strong start it faded badly.

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu It’s my favourite of Tolkien’s books but then I read the Norse Sagas as a child and The Silmarillion is in that vein.

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu They knew at the outset they couldn’t entirely defeat America (as in subjugate the entire country) So their plan was for a limited victory. Unfortunately this was based on a misconception that America would accept this slap in the face without seriously fighting back.

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu The Fantasy Trip had mounted combat rules which made the lance very deadly

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@YoDanno That’s a certain style of game which is perfectly valid, but if it’s not the style of game you’re GMing then you should make that clear to them. It’s unfair to the other players to change the nature of your game for just one player.

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu Do you blame God when you don’t find your keys?

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@KasimirUrbanski @CDuds2024 Clearly anything that suggests moderation or common sense is nonsense to you.

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@CDuds2024 @KasimirUrbanski That’s not what happened though. The agents surrounded the vehicle. The driver tried to drive away, possibly panicked; we’ll never know. It’s not as if she tried to ram them at speed. It was an completely unnecessary death.

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@MichaelRosenYes The moral high ground?

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu Plus it’s simple to make your own

[Chris Rice @SnakeOilDoctor1]

@SandyofCthulhu Scottish “square slice” is the king of sausages
