Back home from ApeFest. Grateful for this unique community.
A few random thoughts:
- ApeFest gets better every year because relationships compound. So fun to meet new life partners and kids (!!) from apes I’ve met over the years.
- Lots of first timers too and they got the vision. Whether longtime holders who finally made it out, new members, or guests, it’s good to expand the circle.
- Really glad that @GordonGoner is doing better and made the trip this year. He is the heart of the club.
- ComplexCon partnership was strong. Great for apes to have a partner event, and even better for attendees to learn about the Club by visiting the booth and @BorednHungry.
- Solid batch of announcements from the keynote. Amazon Gaming + Otherside. IRL Clubhouse. ApePay. Team has been cooking. @AdamWeitsman capped it all with a banger $APE announcement. We are blessed to have his support as a community.
- See you next year in Miami? Not sure how long the construction will take, but looking forward to the Clubhouse. Maybe we should all move to Wynwood and we can hold ApeFest every night.
- Poker was a vibe. Hope this can become an annual tradition. @tboe3D is an absolute chad.
- Too many friends to shout out, but always great to catch up with the @minara, @NewChicCapital, @impact_ape, @0n1Force, @MutantInfusion and @thinkagents crews.
- Special shout out to the @BoredApeYC and @apecoin teams, as well as @iamasifr and @NFThoarder888 on the community side, who put in the work behind the scenes so we can all have the best time.
Until next time. 🦍💪
ATP we literally DGAF about your BAYC takes. We know what it takes to WIN the long game. The microwave attention span of CT can drive mfers a bit crazy, but when you’re laser focused, you can clearly see the signal through the noise. BAYC FOREVER!
Man, that was really an incredible weekend. Thank you to everyone who flew out to Vegas to come hang with us, listen to some great music, see some internet frens, and gamble like degenerates. Thank you to everyone at Yuga who made this ape fest such a flawless experience. And thank you especially to everyone who came up and said hi and wished me well. It meant a lot and I was stoked all night just seeing old faces and meeting new friends.
There is nothing like this club anywhere. Every single time, five ape fests down now, I hear the same thing from new members and their +1’s: ‘I get it now.’
Going to spend the next two weeks recovering. Lost my voice and everything fucking hurts, but I think it was worth it. Hard to describe, but seeing everyone really re-energized me and reminded me of what I need to do and why.
Had to reinstall X just to make this post, and now I’m deleting it again and focusing everything I have on healing up in 2026 so I can get back to doing what I want more than anything, which is to help build weird and fun shit on the Internet for this community.
In the meantime, I couldn’t be more proud of Garga, Figge, Cam, and everyone building in this ecosystem. I think 2026 is going to be a great year.
Love you all.
