Inefficiencies can drain up to 30% of revenues:
So, how do you prevent that?
There is one great framework that can help:
The POPIT Model.
This model provides a comprehensive approach to improving organizational performance, focusing on the interconnection between:
People, Organization, Processes, Information, and Technology.
Here’s a breakdown:
1. People:
Focuses on employee skills, roles, and engagement.
Maximizing team strengths boosts performance.
2. Organization:
Examines company structure, culture, and workplace environment to optimize effectiveness.
3. Processes:
Streamlines workflows and procedures to enhance productivity and achieve goals.
4. Information:
Looks at how data and knowledge flow within the organization and influence decision-making.
5. Technology:
Involves the tools and systems that support operational efficiency, including software and hardware.
To implement the POPIT Model:
A) Assess each element
B) Identify performance gaps
C) Develop improvement strategies
D) Implement changes
E) Continuously evaluate and adjust
Leverage the POPIT Model for a holistic approach to performance optimization.

66% of change initiatives fail:
Want to be among the 34% who succeed?
All companies are undergoing some form of change.
Thus, this is an extremely important area.
Fortunately, there is a great framework that can help:
Theory U by Otto Scharmer.
It is a change management framework that was created based on interviews conducted with his MIT colleagues.
The results of interviewing entrepreneurs, innovators, scientists form basic principles of Theory U.
They guide individuals and organizations through profound changes by following specific process:
1. Downloading past patterns
Analyzing the past to understand the starting point.
Listen to others and listen to yourself.
At this stage, we often listen to reconfirm past beliefs.
2. Seeing with fresh eyes
Understanding what can be the improvements.
Start to observe and try to gain new perspectives.
3. Sensing from the field
You start to tune your open mind, heart, and will.
We need all of them to embrace transformation.
4. Presencing
Meaning letting go of old conventions.
Allowing new ideas to come and embracing change.
At this point, we accept the desire to change.
5. Crystallizing vision and intention
Setting the strategy for the change.
At this point we take the first action in planning.
6. Prototyping the new
Creation of the particular action plan.
Taking first implementation steps.
7. Performing by operating from the whole
Implementation of change takes full speed.
We forget about the past and enter the future.
During the process make sure to answer:
Who are You and What is your Work.
As this question will impact the change success.
P.S. What are the toughest changes you went through?
