“Is biblical authority a first-tier issue?”
Let’s consider the following. Does the Bible state you have to believe the following to be saved?
• Jesus walked on water.
• Jesus fed thousands as a miracle.
• Jesus healed the blind, deaf, and mute.
• The Israelites’ shoes and clothes didn’t wear out in the desert.
• Jonah was in a fish for three days.
• Jesus was born of a virgin.
The list could go on and on. The answer to each question is “no”—the Bible doesn’t say a person has to believe those accounts to be saved.
So does that mean the list doesn’t matter then? Of course not, as these accounts are plainly taught in Scripture when you take the text as written.
Is it important to believe in the list? To reject them is to undermine biblical authority. It ultimately opens the door to reject anything in Scripture.
So where do you draw the line between what’s vital (first tier) and what is not? Well, consider this verse:
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
Taking the Bible naturally, as written, according to the literature and its context, is of great importance. Biblical authority is indeed a first-order (first-tier) issue.
What would be a litmus test to determine if someone is undermining biblical authority? Well, one way is to see if the person is working from the actual words of the text (exegesis) or if the person is taking ideas outside of Scripture and bringing them into the text and interpreting the words (eisegesis).
I’ve said so many times that it’s true that in the church, people have different views of eschatology, modes of baptism, speaking in tongues, the Sabbath day, etc. But all these issues involve people arguing primarily from Scripture to justify their positions, not basing their ideas on influences outside Scripture.
However, when it comes to Genesis, all the different views within the church, such as day-age theory, framework hypothesis, theistic evolution, local flood, and so on, have one thing in common. Every one of these positions involves taking man’s belief from outside the Bible, regarding millions of years (based on the religion of naturalism), and trying to fit old ages into Scripture. Many of these views involve adding biological evolution and astronomical evolution into Scripture. This approach uses eisegesis, not exegesis and it undermines biblical authority.
So creation is a first-tier issue because it’s a biblical authority issue and biblical authority is a first tier issue!
I wish evolutionists could hear themselves. In this clip, the narrator is discussing the amazing bone structure of the extinct (and gigantic) pterosaur known as Quetzalcoatlus.
He explains that the bones must be as light as possible while not sacrificing strength. With zero self-awareness, he compares the bones to the engineering principles found in a launching gantry or airplane. Both examples obviously had human engineers behind them.
And at the end of the clip, he slips up in a massive way, referring to the bone structure as “engineered.” You simply can’t make this up. Macroevolution via natural selection cannot engineer a flying giant due to irreducible complexity. But there is an Engineer who can…and did. (See Genesis 1)
This is definitive.
Body Plans in Life can only be explained by Intelligent Design.
All complex organisms have a specific body plan blueprint that guides development.
But these blueprints cannot be mutated in any major way without major catastrophe.
Evolutionary Theory requires a near limitless space to search through for cumulative mutations to find viable intermediate functional systems.
But research consistently shows that searchable space is severely limited at multiple levels simultaneously.
1. DGRNS
Development Gene Regulatory Networks are highly integrated networks of genes that control overall body plan architecture.
Research shows that large changes to DGRNs are catastrophic, while minor changes don't affect overall body plans.
2. Development Timing
During development, cells must appear in the correct sequence, at the right time, in the right place & context. Viable changes require coordinated mutations across multiple interacting systems. Cumulative changes won't work.
3. Body Plan Integration
Organisms are precisely integrated systems, not collections of parts strewn together. Major body plan modification requires coordinated changes across multiple systems.
4. Hox Genes
While Hox genes can alter body segment identity, research shows them slightly stretching parts of moving things around - not building novel structures.
5. Proteins
Certain amino acid positions in proteins are highly constrained - even one mutation destroys them. Changes at the fold are destructive. And proteins don't work in a vacuum - they work in systems. Major changes to one requires changes in others.
So evolution must often be able to make changes across all these levels simultaneously fto be viable.
Search space then becomes highly constrained - Evolutionary mechanisms are inadequate for explaining how these changes can possible occur across multiple levels simultaneously.
If huge constraints like this exist everywhere evolution must act, then their stories become more than just highly implausible.
No direct observation for how Evolutionary mechanisms build these novel systems exists.
Only one Cause is known capable to engineer vast interconnected functionally integrated systems.
Intelligence.
Life was Divinely Designed.
Body plans make it clear.

@Eric_In_Osaka@AiG Sounds like God is calling you, and you're trying to drown it out with noise.
I suspect that even if God appeared physically to the whole world, you would find reasons to think it was a trick.
Jesus loves you, Eric. Satan hates you. Who will you listen to?
Patient: "What are the side effects of the statin?"
Doctor: "Some people get muscle aches. Usually mild."
Patient: "And if I get them?"
Doctor: "We'd add naproxen for the pain."
Patient: "Does naproxen have side effects?"
Doctor: "It can irritate the stomach. Reflux, sometimes an ulcer. So we'd add omeprazole to protect it."
Patient: "And omeprazole?"
Doctor: "Long term it lowers your magnesium. Your B12 as well. We'd top those up."
Patient: "With more tablets."
Doctor: "Magnesium, and B12 if the bloods come back low."
Patient: "And the magnesium does what?"
Doctor: "Loosens the bowels. Loperamide settles that."
Patient: "That's six tablets. I walked in with no symptoms."
Doctor: "Could be seven. The statin can raise your blood sugar. We'd watch it, maybe start metformin."
Patient: "And metformin?"
Doctor: "Upsets the stomach. Lowers your B12."
Patient: "We already did B12."
Doctor: "Round we go."
Patient: "Is a single one of these treating something I actually feel?"
Doctor: "No. But your numbers will look excellent."

It was the middle of the night, at about 1.30am, when Norway lost to England.
Yet thousands of Norwegians went to the Palace in Oslo and celebrated with one final Viking row.
They did not riot. They did not burn cars. They did not smash bus stops or glass windows of shops.
They smiled. The laughed. They saw the positive in their performance. They celebrated their heritage. They were proud of who they have been in the past and who they are today.
Norway might be out of the World Cup 2026 but they are in our hearts.
In the last three weeks, I think we have all fallen a little bit in love with Norwegians.
A young coyote was playing with the dog’s toy the other night and the owners were lucky enough to catch it on their trail cam.
Coyotes and raccoons just wanting to be domesticated. 😂❤️
Your trip to the Creation Museum isn't complete without a visit to our unique Plants of the Bible Conservatory!
Comprised of four separate glass greenhouses, this conservatory complex is a beautifully curated collection of special plants. Each greenhouse has its own climate. The largest greenhouse, featuring the Judean date palm, changes seasonally, and the subsequent greenhouses move from subtropical, to Mediterranean, and then to arid climates. All houses feature a variety of plants that can be found in that particular climate and region, many of which are mentioned in the Bible.
Toward the end of a self-guided tour that presents the gospel, guests can observe a plant species that may have been used to create the crown of thorns worn by Jesus during his crucifixion.
New mother just got her bill for giving birth to her baby in America, here is the breakdown of costs
- Labor and delivery room 1 night: $3,200
- Postpartum room 1 night: $3,200
- Pitocin 3 bags: $1,179
- IV fluids saline bag: $90
- Zofran: $128
- Epidural medication: $158

Original hospital bill total: Well over $20,000, insurance negotiated down
Physician OB Charges:
- OB for vaginal birth after C-section: $6,185 (The doctor was present for 3 minutes)
This was her 2nd birth
She also had another birth that was a C-Section that cost a flat $32,000
Keep in mind before big insurance companies got involved and healthcare became about profit, it only cost about $300 or so to give both in America during the 60s and 70s. People didn’t buy health insurance they just paid cash
Big insurance companies have ruined our healthcare in America

President Trump was the last person to speak with Lindsey Graham.
Trump just confirmed what they talked about: PASSING The SAVE America Act.
According to Trump, Graham had a plan to get it PASSED. “We’re all set to pass the SAVE AMERICA Act. We got it done, Mr. President.”
This was Graham’s final legislative focus.
The Senate must now pass the SAVE Act, in honor of Senator Lindsey Graham.
