Animals should not suffer for human entertainment. People should not force them to perform just to amuse a crowd.
Australia has officially ended the use of animals in circuses. This decision draws a clear line against making living beings perform for human enjoyment.

For years, circuses kept animals in small enclosures, moved them from place to place, and trained them to do unnatural tricks. Many experienced serious physical and emotional harm. Australia has now said this treatment is unacceptable.
Circuses can still operate ~ without animals.

This is real progress for animal lovers everywhere. Respect starts when we stop using animals as entertainment and recognize their value as living beings.
