🚀 Announcing Vikram-1 Test Flight-1: Mission Aagaman, India’s first private orbital rocket launch.
📍 Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota
🛰️ 450 km, 60 degree inclination, Low Earth Orbit
📅 Launch Window: July 12 – August 4, 2026
Vehicle is now fully stacked at India’s historic First Launch Pad (FLP).
The countdown to a new chapter in Indian spaceflight begins.
One rocket, a billion believers. Thank you ISRO & INSPACe for enabling this..

Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad, is planning to establish a state-of-the-art blow-down type Trisonic Wind Tunnel (TWT) with a 1.6 m × 1.6 m test section, capable of operating across a Mach number range of 0.2 to 4.5.
The facility will be developed at a designated site in Hyderabad, India, to provide controlled, uniform, and steady airflow conditions for aerodynamic testing. It will support the evaluation of scaled models of rockets, tactical missiles, aircraft, launch vehicles, and other aerospace systems, enabling the generation of critical aerodynamic data across subsonic, transonic, and supersonic flight regimes.
Vikram-1's Stage 1 is stacked at the First Launch Pad, Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota. 🚀
For India, this is the first time a privately designed, developed, and manufactured orbital rocket has been stacked on this pad.

USAF Orders Both General Atomics’ FQ-42 And Anduril’s FQ-44 Into Production
Buying both Collaborative Combat Aircraft designs instead of just selecting one has a number of big advantages to what is still a high-risk program.

Today, the @usairforce selected Anduril for the production phase of the Collaborative Combat Aircraft program.
We are now on contract to deliver production FQ-44 fighter aircraft to support continued testing, validation, and, ultimately, operational fielding.
From prototype to production in two years. The first new company to win a fighter aircraft program in more than 50 years.
Just published my new OSINT investigation into Russia's secretive Zircon missile whose combat use has risen sharply in 2026.
Available evidence suggests that Zircon is not a hypersonic cruise missile but rather a quasi-ballistic system.

India spent 39 years and over 2000 crore on the Kaveri engine and still cannot hit the thrust a fighter needs.
problem was never funding, GTRE had no access to how Rolls Royce or GE engineers think about single crystal blade metallurgy or combustion instability during flight.
That kind of knowledge sits inside people who have iterated on live programs for decades, You cannot download someone else iteration history. You have to be inside the program to absorb what it teaches
Every country that builds jet engines went through the same ugly loop, Test, fail, retest, discover something that fits nowhere in a textbook.
India had no high altitude test facility for the Kaveri. Had to ship the engine to Russia for every trial run. You cannot absorb the parameters that separate a working hot section from a molten one by reading papers.
That knowledge gets created inside the program itself. Miss the program, miss the knowledge. No workaround exists.
GE will transfer 80% of F414 manufacturing tech to HAL, The remaining 20% is where the real gap lives.
Core metallurgy, turbine cooling geometries, thermal margin tables that took forty years of flight data to build. Safran meanwhile is offering India full hot section know how for the AMCA engine.
Two competing offers from two different countries, both telling India the same story. You can buy the right to assemble, You cannot buy the intuition that shaped the design.
I love yur thought by the way, I watch few weeks Ago reel where he talked about how hard to make just blade :)
